But I consider your posts to be offensive.

I find the idea of being accused of wishing to smear your character to be grossly offensive to my reputation and character.

And as I have explained to you that there was no such intent, and you still disbelieve me, you're also calling me a liar.

Don't I have as much right to demand your posts are removed?

You can do as you wish. The sites terms and conditons are there, you can also take legal action against me. See a lawyer if necessary. I have no obligation to advise you.

Well you see, I believe in free speech. So I actually think you should be allowed to shoot your mouth off as much as you wish.

So, it would be rather hypocritical for me to sue you.

I'm interested to know why Esbo thinks his comments about Goggle aren't libellous.

He's accused them of being up to no good. As far as I know, he has no evidence to back this up. He's damaging their reputation, and so hurting their multi-billion dollar business.

I doubt google would welcome a legal investigation of their activities and the information they collect, it might put a large dint in their profits. I suggest you have a read through the data protection act and various other leglislation.

I somehow doubt your chances of success would be very good either.

But it would be up to you to show that the disk accessing you experienced was a result of some sort of nefarious activity on Google's part.

Ironically, what would actually stop you being sued by Google is the same thing that would stop you suing someone here: your post would likely be considered fair comment.

In other words, it would be considered your personal opinion made without malice and not containing any willful misrepresentation of fact.

    That's your opinion.

    No, it's the law.

You can't sue someone for expressing an opinion.
