The site moderation may not be very good especially as the board guide posted the first abusive picture.
It won't look very good for a site of this nature if it bans me for reporting clearly abusive material, futher more there is the risk of legal action being taken against them
if they allow abusive material to be posted on it, that's why sites usually remove any material which can be considered abusive.
Step away from the keyboard!!
No one gives a stuff if you are banned or not, especially as NONE of the stuff posted remotely falls into "clearly abusive material"

The picture I posted was making light of the privacy concerns regarding Google Street View.
I fail to see how this is abusive to you.
Disagreeing with you does not constitute defamation.
Stop taking yourself so seriously.
If you post pictures which are considered abusive you are breaking the sites and your ISP's terms and condition. Yes disagreeing with me is fine, it is when you do that in an abusive manner that there is a problem.
I am not 'taking myself seriously' I am taking internet abuse seriously. I would have
reported those pictures even if they were not aimed at me.
Anyway if the site does not remove the pictures they risk legal action being taken against them, as do the original posters of the pictures.
So whilst you may not consider such pictures abusive you might find it very expensive convincing a court of law of that.0 -
This has definitely been the most bizarre reporting of posts I've ever seen on this forum (or any forum for that matter)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

That may be your opinion I doubt you are a legal expert I have a very firm grip of the law so I am not the one who needs to 'get a grip'.0 -

That is probably because other forums would remove such abuse, maybe MSE, has not had the pleasue of being taken to court before?0 -

I meant bizarre in that absolutely no abuse has taken place. I've seen plenty of abuse on this forum and others and been subjected to it myself. That's why I find it so interestingly strange to see completely lighthearted, non-personal, non-abusive posts be accused of such. As would any court I'm sure. In fact in my experience this forum is overly cautious when it comes to libel and abuse."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

But I consider your posts to be offensive.
I find the idea of being accused of wishing to smear your character to be grossly offensive to my reputation and character.
And as I have explained to you that there was no such intent, and you still disbelieve me though you have no evidence to the contrary, you're also calling me a liar.
All your accusations are totally baseless.
Don't I have as much right to demand your posts are removed?0 -

Ironically the only posts on this thread that have crossed the line as far as I can see are the ones threatening legal action which is really quite a distasteful thing to post."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I'm interested to know why Esbo thinks his comments about Google aren't libellous.
He's accused them of being up to no good. As far as I know, he has no evidence to back this up. He's damaging their reputation, and so hurting their multi-billion dollar business.0
