    Mr Grumpy says:

I'm blowed if I'm retyping all my questions from the last four PB threads onto yet another one! I'll just carry on being grumpy!! ;) I'd only just reminded Darragh to refer to a previous post of mine in a previous thread, when ...

I'm not convinced he'll be able to come back and deal with all this lot!! But I wish you luck!

Ah, well, I just happened to stumble on this lot from one post in the current PB thread:

What happens to multiple submissions of the daily crossword? Is there a software mechanism to discard all submissions after the first one? Or are all submissions, including duplicate entries, enetered into the draw. (Can I add a question: Why is the winner not named, as s/he is in the Rustlers comp?)

There is no new crossword on Saturdays and Sundays. It is, however, possible to resubmit Friday's. Is there any advantage to doing this, and how does this tie in with your answer to the last question?

Why are so many people not getting their eBay 300 points, months after they signed up and made their first bid (13 July in my case)?

Why are so many people not getting their 200 points for their registration with LightSpeed? (Again, on 13 July for me).

Why were so many people advised that they had not followed the correct procedure to claim points when it would seem that the majority had indeed done so?

Why did the daily quizzes frequently fail to appear? (Hopefully, this is a thing of the past).

Why was the winner of the 10-point Know Your Celebs quiz named on-screen, when there was no prize to be won? (This was stopped shortly after I mentioned it here).

Why does the winner of the daily Rustlers Trivia Quiz always live in "SE - London South West" - apparently?

Why is it unlikely that the L2S vouchers will return? (I accept that this may be commercially sensitive, but I would respect such an answer if it was given).

And we've not had a proper answer as to why some people get different Monday click-throughs when they are signed up for the same interest categories - as evidenced today, where some folk are getting 10 points for the HQ Hair ad.

    Daragh,

I used an £8.75 CD-Wow voucher and bought a CD that only cost £7.99 (many of their CDs incl Chart have gone down to £7.99). What happened to my other 76p ? I didn't get a credit at CD-Wow ?

Perhaps a £7.99 CD Wow voucher could be available for 900 points ??

    Thanks

    Swattie

The voucher code you used can be used again except this time it will only have 76p credit on it :D

Are the 10-point click-throughs posted simultaneously for everyone, or do different batches of PB members receive offers at different times?

Why is the Irish site so much better than the UK site

Also an error if you logout then go to login but dont enter any details and just click login you are taken to the Irish site and logged in as someone else...this is very poor major programming error

The irish site has been around a lot longer. The Uk site is really just getting itself organised. Still a great site, but just has a few 'issues' to work out.

Are some click-throughs for 10 points programmed so that you have to click on them a number of times before the 10 points become available? This seems to have been the case a couple of times in the past.

  • Morning all and thanks for your posts.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to log in as I thought on Thursday or Friday due to some personal business and workload.

I will however get as many of your queries as possible answered this week and will do most later on today or tomorrow. So don't despair, I'll be beethoven!

    Sorry, Bach I mean, back...

  • I would just like to say to Darragh that myself, family and friends have been members of pigsback since june and have had no problems yet with points being awarded or L2S vouchers arriving or anything else arriving that we have ordered ie CDWOW vouchers and have had all emails replied to promptly.
I can understand peoples complaints and frustration as had i had these problems i would be the same
We all think pigsback is a great site with the potential to be even greater.
Just thought id let you know so that your not just reading complaints and querys on these 2 pigback threads and to say thank you
    Thanks to all who post
