Make sure you check the prices of Click 6 as this new British Gas tariff is now cheaper than Click 5 (mostly - double check for your own region/payment method). (Of course, if you have not yet received a bill since the price increase (30 Aug?) you can go through the whole switching supplier rigmarole.)0 -
I managed to get onto the Essentials Tariff in the end.

I have just had my first full bill on the Essentials Tariff, the saving on this one bill is over £30, over 40% !!!
Cost of my gas bill 978 kWh (inc. VAT):
-on Essentials = £43.07 (rate 4.192 p/kWh exVAT)
-on Standard Tariff =£74 (rate 7.203 p/kWh exVAT)
Very happy. :T :j :beer:0
