Boots dot com checkout is refusing to accept my ACM extra points code (500 extra wys £55) as it does not recognise my advantage card number. There is nothing wrong with my card, I used it Saturday.

Phoned Customer Care who told me to take the invoice & the acm printout back into the shop to have the points put on there!!!! It would cost me more than the £5 in cabfare, but that was the only thing the young (rather wet) girl could suggest. :wall: :wall: :wall: She confirmed my card is OK too.

Has anyone else had trouble with the 'new' boots.com site?

Don't get me started on the site!!! After trying loads of times on Thurs & Fri to order stuff online, I had to phone up customer care to put it through (which took ages) and I had to pay 98p delivery even though my order was over £40....

Had a message today on my phone from Boots saying my order has been cancelled! Phoned them and they said someone "senior" has to phone me - not happy!! :mad:

Hi I thought I would mention to anyone who still has 200 point T&G voucher from mag, that they are doing a special on the T&G range at moment and voucher is valid until 9/9 so if you have any you can stock up...shrewdalx

Lady luck I wholeheartedly agree with you, but would just like to raise something, not to start a banter even though this subject, whilst important, needs to be put to bed as it we would all go around the houses on it forever more.

The point i'd like to make is about the member who called the SA's at their local loosers. Ok admittedly it was not a particulary nice statement, but in her shoes I *may* have been inclined to post the same to be honest. I've shared many pm's with the poster of that comment as they are local to me. Everytime they go in they get refused to use pinkies and till spits as they have used one before(!), get told they will not be served with any vouchers again, but worst of all are treated absolutely terribly and like they are a criminal everytime they shop in there! They do not have the luxury of shopping elsewhere either.

I'm sure we all stand divided in regard to the members comments, but I can not say I would not have the same attitude considering they are not just refused glitches, but genuine vouchers. I'm not sure I can blame them for venting their frustration publicly in all honesty.
