First one that comes up is for... "Peas with mozzarella - Arrange the mozzarella on a plate. Spoon the warm peas over the top".. lol.. thanks, that's really useful! :rotfl:
I would do pea and ham in a cream/yogurt or tomato based sauce with 'short' pasta then put it in an oven proof dish, tear the mozzarella into chunks, scatter on top, stick in 180 oven for 15-20 mins until cheese all melted.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Mmmmm that sounds nice! There's a Jamie Oliver recipe for basically mushed up peas on toast topped with mozzarella.

Drool.......... that sounds delicious............Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
completely unrelated to peas and mozzarella but i had a store cupboard tea the other day, it was delish!!
lamb kofka kebab thingys in freezer, pepperoni in freezer, onions, mushrooms, arrabatia sauce, pasta...
cooked kofkas on george foreman, fry off pepperoni onions and mushrooms, add cooked lamb, add tomato sauce, serve with pasta/parmesan/garlic bread..... yum yum yum! Big G was well impressed..!
am i the only person who takes excess pepperoni off pizzas and saves it for putting on plain margueritas, pasta or omlettes......... nothing worse than a plain ole pizza with nothing on it, i always add a little sausage from my stash! ;O)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

The other thing you could do, if you have chicken breasts or thick pork chops or similar is mash the peas with a bit of pesto and stuff into a pocket cut in the side of the meat, put in oven with layer of mozzarella and tomoato across the top until meat cooked and cheese bubbling on top (15-20mins), serve with rice or potatoes or cous cous...
Hmm - quite fancy that one myself!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Maz - err.. as far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as excess pepperoni, love the stuff, although not quite as much as I love chorizo. You can never get enough sausage :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
