Note to self: dust CD's and CD racks under the coffee table a bit more regularly than 'never'........:o

I love the audible books for when i am travelling - if I am not driving though they send me to sleep....you can get a free trial on audible through quidco and get two books for free....

So you either ate the whole packet or had the willpower to stop before that happened:p

Don't you know the dust on CDs and CD racks acts as an essential buffer to protect them from damage!

You'd hope she'd give in eventually:confused: Although once she did give in you'd have to find it:p

I'm more a radio person and some of the CD's haven't seen the light of day since they went in the rack on the floor 4 years ago! :o I think I remember dusting them at some point........once maybe......

I was thinking about popping and joining the library tomorrow - it's opposite where I work and maybe getting an audio CD and putting it on my walkman. It has a video player in it but I can't find anything online I can download. I've tried a couple of sites but nothing seems to work.

If you can go onto the radio websites I think you can download some of the shows to your ipod....

Laughing here - I've got lots of peas at home (from parents' garden) and a ball of mozzarella that needs used up, so thought I'd have a look online for some recipes involving peas and mozzarella, thinking maybe a soup, pasta dish..? First one that comes up is for... "Peas with mozzarella - Arrange the mozzarella on a plate. Spoon the warm peas over the top".. lol.. thanks, that's really useful! :rotfl:

  • local library is shut so I've just been and joined. Got 3 quick reads for the train and 2 audio CD's which I'm now loading onto my MP3 player. Not much choice as nearly all the stock is held at the main library, but there were 20 or so novels to pick from.

I don't have an ipod sammy - it's a Sony walkman? not sure if that will make a difference- I know it has to be mp3 files, but I'll have a look - I fancy some comedy if Ican find some.

EDIT: found a good site called audioville but you have to pay - some are really dear!! I'm after free ;)
