Littlewoods Cashback

I have been a littlewoods customer for about 2 years and have paid off my account many time and have had numerous credit increases.

I noticed when I placed an order a few weeks ago there was a cashback section on my order confirmation, in this section was £0 so I googled littlewoods cash back and did my research, then contacted littlewoods to ask why I havent been recieving this to which they replied I should be and would send relevant documents to sort this out. I have contacted them 2x since then and have been told the same. Does any one else recieve this incentive? Am in the process of writing a stern letter but would like your input!
 I'll get you debts and your little dog too!!!
And best of luck to all the other debt busters out there!!

The cashback is a percentage (can't remember what % though) of goods bought and is either paid as a cheque or used towards reducing any outstanding payment on your account
• i used to get cashback from littlewoods then it stopped. I was told that they no longer done it that was going back a couple of years.I assumed they had stopped it for everybody I will be interested to know if you get it started again!.
• mine disappeared a few months ago - keep meaning to contact them to find out but haven't got round to it. Would be interested as we have a large item that we start paying for this month.

At last people are starting to find this out - mine stopped also about 2 years ago and I was really annoyed - I even posted on here but eveeryone slammed me and said it was impossible as everyone gets it.

My sister still gets hers on her account so it must be random - I spend more than her and would have a hefty sum built up by now if I got the cashback.

I considered closing the account but rely on it for ease of use and am a avid sale hunter when I need something.

I opened mine online about two years after my sis - Ive tried to work out if the online bit did it or the time when account was opened.

I once emailed them and recieved a response which I posted on here if i find it I will post it - it was along the lines of no cashback on sale items - items using codes - end of stock items - account must always be in credit ect ect.

But I tested this by buying a cheaper item and paid full within a month and still no cashback.

• Has anyone had any joy with contacting littlewoods about this?

• Here is the letter I will be posting in the morning and have emailed this evening:
"This is my fourth attempt at contact regarding cash back on my account over the past month and as yet my complaint has not been resolved, despite promises made by Littlewoods.
On the 15th August I contacted Littlewoods via the on-line contact us facility enquiring why I am not in receipt of the cash back incentive despite being a customer for at least 2 years and in this time received numerous credit increases and having paid off my account balance. I received an email from Su Brooks on 16th August explaining 'I can confirm that I have checked your account and cannot see any reason why you are not earning cash back and therefore I have forwarded your email onto our Specialist team, who will be in contact with you shortly.' On 19th August I again emailed littlewoods as I had not received a response and this was replied by Linda Slater stating 'On checking our records I find a cash back registration form is in the post to you. Once we have received the completed form back we can assist further with your enquiry.' On 29th August after still not receiving a satisfactory response I called Littlewoods and spoke to one of your customer service advisor's who informed me that she would request for the cash back form to be resent and also explained to me that Littlewoods were trying to abolish the cash back incentive as this meant the prices could then be lowered.
Does Littlewoods have any intention of crediting me with the cash back I have accrued over the last few years or is this an attempt to palm me off until cash back is abolished?
I look forward to your rapid response."

This is interesting, as my cashback disappeared after I used the remainder to pay my account balance, this was back in February, and it has since disappeared. I phoned to query it and CA told me she couldn't understand why it had gone. So, sent me a cashback request form to get it reinstated. Filled it out and sent it back. Received a letter from them stating the following:

We have made several changes to the way cashback is earned. Please find these listed below. More details can also be found in the back of your book.

Cashback will no longer be paid on:
• Sales and discounted items
• Sale items
• Items ordered with a discount code
• Any insurance on your account
• Delivery or administration charges
• Payments under £20
• Cashback payments
• If your account is in arrears
The amount of cashback you have earned is always shown on your statement.

 It used to be a minimum payment of £10 to earn cashback, and I only just ordered sale items in July - so that had nothing to do with my cashback disappearing. Also annoyed with their interest charges that they have now added to buy now pay later. One of my customers made a big order for pay April, lw added interest to total amount and told me if it is paid in full before April, then I can apply to get the interest cancelled. Too much hassle to me, so once my account is clear then I'll be cancelling my account I've had for 14 years.

A few years ago they done a loyalty thing called 'Select' which came with loads of benefits such as: free phonenumber, free nextday delivery, free littlewoods retail vouchers at xmas etc. Done away with this probably 8 or so years ago, but up until beginning of year I always used the free order/enquiry number to contact them. Then they changed there order numbers and done away with it.

Been with Freemans catalogue for 10 years, but didn't use them that often, but noticed my missing cashback has been reapplied to my account. Lost it when I cleared account, then never ordered for over a year, but showed back on account with money on it - so didn't actually loose it - was just not printed on statement. I was actually thinking about cancelling that account when I'd finished paying the small balance left on it. Don't think I will now :p

• i have spoken to littlewoods and was told the same horse76 and also that if you became a customer after 2006 cashback was not avaliable to you and that if you were in arrears then when the account was back in credit then you need to contact them to have a new aggrement sent out to you to reinstante the cashback offer! hope this helps.
