I too was having issues with the new firefox so I 'm now using the new Google Chrome brower. It lets you import your settings from Firefox to make the transition easier. Looks like they got their timing juuuuust right.

I've rewound to the old version of FF - how sad am I?

That lovely Vista one (Home Premium).
Ah....could be me stuck already, on XP you right click on "My Computer" and select "Manage" This launches the Computer management console, double click event viewer and look in System, and Application logs

Might also be worth looking in Firefox's Error Console, under Tools menu on the browser

    I've got this:confused: among others

    Description:
Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.8.20071.12718, time stamp 0x474cd9ce, faulting module xpcom_core.dll, version 1.8.20071.12718, time stamp 0x474cdb37, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0003fc4d, process id 0x1398, application start time 0x01c90d349b7d5350.

There are the same few errors over and over again though.
