if you phone up bt to cancel you may get a good deal, i phoned on sunday to ask for my mac, when they asked me why i wanted it, i just said i am going to shop around for the best deal(really i was looking at aol just to get the free laptop), but anyway i never said anything about cancelling, but straight away they offered me the current package i am on free for 6 months, there new homehub(which alledgedly costs £90), and knocked of £2.71(i think) of my phone bill a month, so now i get free evening and weekend calls just for the price of line rental, really pleased i rung now, DaveTake every day as it comes!!0

We are with utility warehouse and never had a problem.
Customer service excellent.
And, because we also use them for gas and electric we get free local and national phone calls 24/7 - and this is until we cancel a service, not a special offer for a few months.0 -
I was about to switch from AOL to Plusnet. I'm informed that from today they are charging £20 to cancel even if it's 20 years from now.
Well worth reading their terms & Conditions before making a decision.0 -
Unless you are one of the 30% that are not in their free broadband area, then its £17.99 a monthChrissybh0y wrote: »Sky is free for sky customers im with them and never had a problem0 -
Stick with BT until O2 become available in your area then jump at them! :j0

It's like the bank addy on TV. 'It's like fishing, we throw you a hook with a big juicy worm on the end and when we've got you we throw you in the keep net!!' Many a true word said in jest!Sounds good but then it nearly doubles to £14/Month in 2009.I hate these deals where they get your attention with a low starting price and then shoot up after initial period.I know lots of companies do it but it actually puts me off as its really a scam. Why not just tell us the proper price up front.0 -
I have been with many BB suppliers.
Virgin - Were ok but pricey back in the day.
F2s - now owned by tiscalli i think - stay well clear of them.
Eclipse are ok, they have different options for different people and prices are reasonable also.
I am now with enta net and I can honestly say this is the best supplier I have ever used, 24/7 technical support, no traffic shaping and unlimited downloads. (enta net have various resellers).0
