Unless people want it posted on the first page each time? If it is posted each month does anyone want to take over doing it Rosieben? Or could it be seperated out as a recipe collection as I really dont have the energy to keep up anymore.
Thanks

Nikki, you have been great doing the recipies and the rest of the stuff you help with too, you always have great advice.
I know your condition will not get better, but I hope you get a bit of a respite soon and also that you get good news at your appointment when you go - they may be able to help you more then, which they should have been doing all along. This sounds like a great way to handle things, many thanks to everyone who took the time to reply and to Pink and Penelope for finding a perfect middle ground0

Hi Nikki, I'd be happy to take over the GC recipe list if people would prefer to have the full list on the front page rather than just a link? I presume we just add recipes in as they are offered on the thread? sending you a pm... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

My appointment was last week. I had to take exOH in with me cos I cant take anything in at the moment. All it did was make things worse between me & exOH.Now I feel really bad and he doesnt want me here anymore. I think there may be some help available to look after DS and help to move out but it wasnt made clear what will be done or what I need to do to get the help.
I hope I can get it sorted soon.
Sorry for being OT

Life throws a lot at us some times and it sounds like you are being pelted from all angles (for want of a better phrase).
Thanks for all you have done and keep your chin up.

Excellent idea-Im now going back to a previous post if Ive forgotten something small and editing it rather than posting too often. Some of us get a bit overentusiastic at times! Perhaps others can do this also-especialy if they have only just sent their post.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

.........please delete this post if not appropriate messages, it doesn't make it feel as warm and friendly as it used to be so please stop, I am sure if threads are not applicable they will be removed and we all understand this happens...Princess Leia
I think perhaps Pink Princess and I were misunderstood earlier about deleting comments.. I certainly thought I was being helpful..
I have certainly enjoyed how friendly this thread has been since I joined in January. We've been so supportive and sometimes it wasn't always about the Grocery Challenge..
lets not spoil it eh by being critical of each other.
Keep up the good work everyone.

Not sure if you have misunderstood me or if I am misunderstanding you but I was talking about people saying sorry for posting or saying please remove post if you want - its not nice to read a stream of apologies, I do understand the removal of posts that are not relevant and agree with this. I wasn't being critical sorry if you thought that (or have I misunderstood what you have written now
)
Anyway, the changes seemed to have worked and its still a nice place to post with a lot less to trawl throughSealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

The challenge normally ends/begins on the 28th of the month. Having read all the posts by people who have already finished for September I'm wondering if it should maybe start a little earlier.
If anyone has any thoughts on this please post on this thread:

Hi Pink,
I usually finish on the last friday of the month as hubby gets paid then - sometimes 4, sometimes 5 weeks, but that might not work for everyone. Just thought if I put down when I start from and then if others do the same, it might help you to work out whats best.
Thanks to yourself and Penny for a very successful Sept GC - a bit subdued but still lots of good tips, especially for people starting out... I'll try to behave in October (can't always promise though)

Hi Denise,
Thanks for that. :A If I was going to move it, it would probably be only a couple of days earlier...ie the 25th? Again it's up to the regulars and we will go with the general consensus.
You behave? Some chance!
