Hi BigMummaF,
I'm quite happy to post a reminder of the guidelines every few pages if people will think it helps rather than adding more clutter.
I will also add a link in the guidelines to the Unofficial A-Z (Look here first) which includes step by step instructions on how to use the search, include links etc.

I think the guidelines sound great - to the point but not offputting, just what we need.
I love the GC, and must admit to being one of the people who chatted a bit, but this was because I was so in awe of how everyone did and they were always so accommodating and friendly - unlike real life sometimes eh!
I don't think anyone who chats on there wants to put the challenge at risk, or fill it up with mundane stuff, but passing on congrats and best wishes make the challenge what it is and I hope that is not lost.
I no longer post much on there because I don't have the time any more, but still pop on now and again and try to keep up with everyones news, and I now meal plan, bulk cook for later, prepare a shopping list before going out, stop hubby loading up the cart with carp and think twice before I put 'musthaves' in - all because of the challenge, so am really glad you are not changing it drastically.
Off topic just for a moment, The challenge, like many other people I would imagine, really has been life changing for me - I CAN budget, I CAN manage on less than £120pw, and we now pay off more on debts or are able to get those essentials like school uniform, ect without wondering where we will get the funds from just because of this challenge, and I would like to say a BIGto everyone on there who has encouraged me along the way... It has been much appreciated.

Hi Pink
I agree - good guidelines that are encouraging rather than off-putting :T
Can I suggest that the title of the GC each month includes 'Please read first post before posting' like the Losing Weight thread does?
Thanks so much to you and PP for all your efforts to keep our lovely GC thriving... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Hi,
I think the guidelines sound good.
I actually have started posting less than I used to, for quite a few reasons, time being the big one as DS is on the go these days!
Thanks for all the work and suggestions everyone, and especially Pink and Penny.

Hi Pink
Can I suggest that the title of the GC each month includes 'Please read first post before posting' like the Losing Weight thread does?
No problem that will be easy to do, although I may have to put the guidelines into a second post with a link in the first post to them as I think that they may be too big for one post.
While we're on the subject, Mrs M and Angelnikki, the GC usually starts on the 28th of the month. I know that you like to get the totals post and the recipes on the first page. Would it help if I were to pm you when the thread is beginning? I will also add links to your posts in the first post if that would help?

oooh yes please Pink..
It will save me hovering over the PC like a woman possesed and save Nikki from having to PM me to make sure I have seen the new thread anyway :rotfl:-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

I can be a bit erratic about the time I start the thread....I'm not a morning person. If either of you (or anyone else for that matter) wants to pm me a reminder that it's the 28th I won't mind.

Thanks Pink and Penny for all your hard work :A

:o I'm really dippy at the moment. I meant to say earlier - Maybe there could be a link to the current Recipe Index in with the guidelines too, to save posting the same list each month.
Unless people want it posted on the first page each time? If it is posted each month does anyone want to take over doing it Rosieben? Or could it be seperated out as a recipe collection as I really dont have the energy to keep up anymore.
Thanks

Nikki,
Thanks for all the hard work you have put into gathering up the Grocery Challenge recipes. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's appreciated it. :T :A I'll add a link to the recipes into the guidelines.
