Even though I have to make it all up in my head and jump to conclusions as your clues are just a little too vague so I'm going with 6 foot 3, taned, toned, very generously endowed (and talented with it), moderately well off with own house, own car, mother who resides on another continent (I'd go for planet but thats a bit extreme) and a fabulous and very enthusiastic cook who also likes to wash up and believes that men should do at least 50% of the housework. Whilst I'm at it he also understands the concept of the laundry basket and can operate a wahing machine. Sound familiar?

So do men like this actually exist? :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Morning lovelies,

you are a naughty & very optimistic lot. If I found the man that Moo described I would assume I was either very very trunk or dreaming, lets keep looking though & if we find one we'll clone him & sell the replicas, become wealthy, pay off all our debts ..... :j

*smacks back down to reality*

It was an old friend/fling & I didnt want it to be serious first time round & still feel the same but sometimes as cyndi said "girls just wanna have fun" :D

My private customer called last night & her OH is dropping some work round for me to do which I'm very pleased about as I honestly thought I wouldnt hear from them again. Also got a cheque form my grandmother towards a holiday next year :iloveyou: gran, so a bit of a money shower here too. Lets hope Moo2's lucky cloud rains on everyone ;) .

Need to do some work now so will update my spending later ...

    bye for now
    Lula xx

Of course men like that actually exist. Its finding one without a boyfriend thats the hard part.

I made the mistake of checking my bank balance this morning. Its a bit more overdrawn than I'd expected as a payment in is late. Hopefully thats just a temporary glitch. Will be extra careful between now and payday just to be on the safe side.

Had an embarrasing time in Tesco today too. Found a fella rummaging around in my trolley. Pointed out that it was mine (complete with colection of reuasable bags) he helpfully said "sorry, I though it was the bargain trolley" perhaps I'm taking money saving a bit too far. Mind you I did have 20 cans of baked beans reduced to 14p each and 10 loavesof 18p bread and some reduced bacon .....

Its snowing!!!!!!! well ok its not *actually* snowing but there are snow covered cars in the car park at school today. It makes me feel all hot chocolatey inside although that could just be the amount of hot chocolate I've had to drink today.

I had today all mapped out. Kids up, washing machine on, off to work, complete appraisal, on to a mystery shop, take advantage of the 30% off Gap jumpers for DDs x-mas gifts, home to do some housework, lunch and back to work. Extremely efficient but foiled at the first hurdle when I slept through the alarm arriving at school even more dishevelved than normal minus DD2s lunchbox. I need to go back to school before lunch so that she doesn't starve or even worse be made to eat the stuff they class as a school meal.

The dreaded statement arrived. I'm £58 off being sub £35K so thats my target for next month... would have been sub £35K but OH has been using it as his personal pocket money account again. Will be having stern words. Overdraft now straightened out thanks to late clearance of a cheque so margnianlly less panic. Car exhaust sorted for a very reasonable £54. I seem to have more going out than coming in again. Time for a new SOA methinks to work out why.

I've been accepted for another Mystery Shopping site which pays rather well but everything seems to be a fair distance away so will need to co-ordinate shops with trips out. Happily most of them are for free food so I'm sure I can persuade OH to come along and check out the gents for me.

Late for work again and the forecast snow still hasn't materialised so its not even like I have a good excuse. No electricity today as they're working on the overhead lines again. At least its a good excuse for not doing the ironing.

The local electricity board have been taking lessons from British Rail. I will have electricity today after all. They are unable to disconnect power to rectify fault A because of a previously undetected fault on the switch used to turn off the power which is no longer working (fault B). They need to repair the faulty switch first (in order to turn the power off) but despite having 4 trucks visible in the street this won't be today. Confused?

Aw well, off to do the ironing.

    Morning everyone :)

It's actually bright, sunny & not too cold here  .

Today is the day that DD is meant to be taking in her costume for the christmas assembly. Her class is doing the one at the local church this year & she's very miffed that she didnt get a speaking part. I think it's the teachers way of getting her back for chatting in class too much. DD has been moved to 3 different tables this terms as she cannot keep it zipped  . So full credit to the teacher for getting her own back :D . I am very miffed too, but that's because having got rid of the angel costume about 3 weeks ago ... guess what her part is  . I know that Moo2 is fabulously creative & will tell me to make one but I just dont have the materials or time or motivation so I'm going to be very naughty & see if I can buy one & then maybe if still immaculate...:shhh: take it back. I still need to buy more presents for people but am being very strict about spending. I went to tesco yesterday to stock up on some basics like laundry & cleaning stuff & toiletries & spent £47  . I need to do a waitrose trip tomorrow for fruit & veg - far superior quality & stays fresh much longer than tesco IMO - But am going to otherwise try to have a store cupboard week. I also need to pay Grans cheque into the bank & then once that's cleared I'll pay the entire amount off CC1. I'll be using that card to buy the flights anyway & the rest of the amount will come from the saving fund so if I'm really careful about timing the payment there should be no cost. Too scared to even look at flights right now as I really dont feel I should be spending money on that but it's a gift so would be rude (& very stupid) to refuse.

I've checked bank & CC accounts this morning but they dont make sense so I need to go & spend some quality time with my calculator again

Bye for now & happy ironing Moo2 ;)

Ummm no ironing but lots of on-line shopping. M&S have a 20% off sale. The discount is applied after everything else so I've got 3 pairs of slipper sox for DD2 (Miffy and In the Night Garden), 2 pairs of knee high stripy slipper sox for DD1 and 10 pairs of knickers for me delivered for £19.80 and 5% quidco too. I am a very very very bad girl, but at least the DDs won't have cold feet this winter. At least thats their christmas stockings well on the way to being filled.
