LOL:rotfl: what a little cheeky little monkey.
Re-Christmas shopping if I see something that I know someone will like I buy it and put it away (usually stuff that was expensive but has a big discount on it) I bought a £60 fake fur throw from woolworths on Saturday and got it for £4.50:D
Jet - Mine never used to care where there clothes came from and to be honest I get kind of disappointed in them sometimes as we have never been brand snobs but I guess they listen to their friends more than their Mum at the moment. They still only get bought what I think they need and any extra stuff they want has to come out of their own piggy bank:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
morning all....not been on all weekend but I have had a great few days.
Sitting here in work on a Monday morning and I cant stop smiling. Yesterday was my birthday.....yep, 21 again. Went to watch the fireworks in Edinburgh last night and ended up being with a certain boy whom I have liked for a while. Its just made my heart sing.......DFW 228 LONG H 68

morning all - September already, weird how it's flying by.
Oddly I thought of the 'C' word this morning - I said to OH - the race is on for the first Christmas TV advert!
I've got 2 birthdays first in October, but they are both bought for. I've got 2 Christmas presents so far but I need to start checking out Grabbit more regularly.
OH is going to Thruxton today for his race day I bought him for last Christmas, driving different sports cars. I was going to go with him but to be honest 4 hours of watching cars just go round will be fun for a bit but a bit boring after that so I suggested he could have a day with his son before he goes back to Uni and take him which he is going to do.

Aw Angel, that's a great start to the week.
My week started off with my 3 year old giving more attitude than a teen - little madam. Then she got told about the new system of the Naughty Box - every naughty act means a toy goes in teh box, and it take being good to get it out again. First up is the beloved coloring pencils. The look of complete horror on her face was priceless.......
Christmas eh? Well I saw a card display in Card Warehouse in JUNE!!!! June I tell you - the world's gone bonkers. Although I have already started on Xmas, thanks to the Pigsback Pig, lightspeed has taken care of the Amazon vouchers, and Boots £5 coupon has provided posh bath stuff for MIL's basket. Ooh, tighter than a ducks bottom, and proud of it.
Boys in bed, so really should be cracking on with stuff - but you find this site maddeningly addictive, don;t you? This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

morning all...... am at work today, but still not feeling 100% so am doing basics and going home before lunchtime!!
I really shouldn't be here anyway, as likely to infect the poor beggars i work with.. aren't you supposed to wait 48hours before returning to work after a D&V bug? I'm in this office on my own, and only stuck my head round the door of the others office, to say i was in to do daily stuff, but not stopping...
It's bad timing as others are on holiday this week, or i would have just been off......
Xmas? i have bought zero presents..... really must make a list and see how i go....
Angelflower! sounds like a lovely weekend for you!!!
BB - very wise giving the track day a miss... i'd love it but only if i could get in a car and drive!
DD - lovin the pic, as if to say "who me?"!!!
Erin doesn't care about brand stuff yet but she does know what she likes.. it was the local gala day in the village and there was a clothes stall there selling loadsa hoodies, erin picked this white with gold writing NYC top, very chavvy! it was £25, and we ended up getting it for £8.50 as it was all i had in my purse! no way i'd have paid more than £10 for a top for her any time, but £8.50 for one that she really wanted sounded reasonable to me. I love to barter!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Morning all, I've applied for my ideal job this morning so wish it luck!
And my new shiny credit card with a £1400 limit came today. Don't Panic! It's for DFW purposes, it can be spent on abroad with 0% commission :money:

Good morning everyone. First day back at work and I'm inundated but really enjoying it.
I'm going to have 4passport sized photos taken at lunchtime so I can sign up for the Leeds Leisure card for the next six months and do things like aqua-aerobics, yoga, pilates and swimming. I've even found the rcog statement on exercise in pregnancy to say it is safe to do it (:mad:stupid cow at the sports centre gave me chapter and verse aobut it not being safe to exercise whilst pregnant. not one to take that lying down I've got my official evidence to shove in her face)
Hope everyone's well, hope to be abl eto post later but depends on work and tiredness (i'll sleep if I can get away with it:D)!
