Hi too to IrishChick - I like the idea of Virgin Vie parties - I've been to a few in the past, however you need to have a good patter and I think care about and be more convincing about using creams, cleansers etc.... Not sure I'd fit!

  • Morning!

I am on holiday this week and am planning on blitzing certain rooms in the house that are filled with.............junk. Yes complete junk so it will be theraputic! just got to get my bum off the chair and get on with it.

I finally had my tattoo done yesterday with my birthday money and after 4 years of waiting it looks awesome! Very painful I wont lie but I am sooooooooooooooo pleased with it! I did a basket thing last year but decided that as time for me is short (I do so much you wont believe it!) it will be cheap and cheerful from cashback sites.

    Have a good day!
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
  • Hi, 1 step closer,
    A TATTOO!! OUCH!!!
Good luck with the clear-out, I BADLY need to do one and the job is so big I cant face it!
Hows it going? Mind you, if your reading this, you wont be getting on very well at all!!
Well done on geting the xmas shopping started, makes you feel a bit cocky doesnt it?
    Lunch time! C u.

    Hi everybody
I agree I am itching to declutter but I have an OH who is a hoarder so all the stuff cluttering up the place is his! and he goes really moody if I so much as move something lol
decided to do a basket for my MIL (Ruby/ SavingHolmes you would be proud) for xmas. got the basket, cello ( see Ruby I'm with it now:rotfl: ) some toiletries,soaps/ bath stuff/ body cream etc ( good old home bargains) 2 half bottles of wine . that comes to £9 and was going to put her a debenhams gift card in and possibly a cupcake , made with a scarf. what do you all think? by the time I've finished it it will probably look like a car crash, but as they say its the thought that counts

Ruby, Belle are you both ok? missing you
    cas x
  • Cas - you must be married to my husband! ( I think your basket sounds lovely btw)
Been very busy at work and home so finding it hard to catch up. Will read all and try to post tomorrow (Tuesday particularly stressfull with football etc etc)
    Missing you too Ruby
    Belle x

    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

Hi all - the basket sounds great and I'm sure you'll do it beautifully! I showed someone my piccies of my reindeer and they are going to have a go too....

I've done 2 surveys today but other than that no further forward altho despite the temptation haven't gone shopping for 3 whole days! My vouchers from a review company have finally arrived however - so I am ordering some books with them towards xmas presents - that doesn't count as spend tho honest!

  • Morning everyone
I am just popping in to say hi really, haven't had time to go back and read posts but will probably do that later. I have a few hours at home this morning (working) before I go off to an all afternoon meeting (very dull!!), so wanted to say hi.

I hope you are all having a good week, mine is hectic at work and at home!!

    Got to rush.

Best wishes and I promise to read and reply properly later.

  • Ruby, there must be something in the air, my week is totally out of control too! I hardly know what day it is!
Plus I have three parties to do this w'end for Virgin Vie! Good money but no 'me-time' at all!! Need the money as saving for a family trip to Edinburgh at end of Nov. Christmas pressie to the kids from hubby and myself! (beats more clothes and clutter than they already have and get!!) We did it last year and it was a huge success, dont tell kids till night before we go, sooooo excited!
Have got all my gear for cupcakes, just need to get going now and sell at my daughters school craft fair. How much should I sell them for!? Any ideas anyone? Also any ideas what else I could sell/make?
