I have been blitzing and am now sick of it! There wasnt that much to throw out as I do this every 6 months (forces upbringing) but I have cleaned like a demon! hubby said as I was swearing my head off earler, you arent having much of a holiday so slow down. He knows better than to get involved!!
so afternoon off pottering on pc, tomorrow whirlwind round the living room and kitchen and its our 11 year anniversary friday.
I just feel like I should have done all of it by now and constantly beat myself up. I think I set too high a target at times.
:-(

Hi 1 step, We women all set too high standards and are too hard on ourselves! Take some time to yourself, or you'll go back to work like a bear, if you're anything like me!!
Im so tired this week and should be doing so much in the evenings(if the ironing pile falls on any of the children, they'll be buried alive!!)but just have to chill or wouldnt be fit for work! But the guilt of not doin it is worse than the exhaustion would be? Why do we do this to ourselves? Men dont suffer from the same symptoms!!!!Debt - £10,000

Wow sistercas, lucky you! An evening of fun awaits you!
Mind you, Ive to go to Tesco from work, then come home to make dinner and then climb the ironing avalanche before we have no clothes left to wear cuz they're all in the corner of the kitchen ready to land on someone and kill them outright!!

I think it must be the week too!
My son is going to high school next year so as well was working, finished baskets, reindeers, surveys, freebies and cash back sites I have to fit in open evenings. I also foolishly agreed to help out at church with a youth meeting so I need to fill out forms etc for that. Someone on freecycle has given me a basket so I need to go and collect it. Cook tea, put the kids to bed and be at someone's house with id etc for around 8.30/9pm! I also need to make sure my DD has a present and card to take to school for someone's party which she is going to straight from school - oh and she will need picking up from there too. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Now OH - is absolutely and utterly oblivious to all of this, I asked him to make the kids tea and he got DS to do it.....
My DD keeps crying every time her older brother goes out with friends. The house looks like we've been burgled....so where do we go from there? Tomorrow is no better - I have to drive 280miles and then go to an open evening and then go out to singing practice!  So I don't know whether to hope my cleaner comes tomorrow to sort it out or hope she doesn't in case she turns around and goes home again:p

You just did it again - post that is! :rotfl:
Sounds like you are all very busy. I feel a bit sad as DS3 is on a school trip - house feels very quiet without him. Still, lots I can be doing and DH is going out so I turn the tv off and have a quiet night in and look at his baby photos lol

At long last I have joined the ranks of the 'making things' brigade. I have tonight, and only tonight, knitted a SCARF! I used needles the size of scaff poles so it knitted up pretty quickly and because I used chunky wool it doesn't matter that it's not quite 'perfect'.
Hurray - 1 potential Christmas present ( but I'm so proud I want to wear it myself!)
Hope you are all having a good evening and not too busy and stressed
Belle
