  • At long last I have joined the ranks of the 'making things' brigade. I have tonight, and only tonight, knitted a SCARF! I used needles the size of scaff poles so it knitted up pretty quickly and because I used chunky wool it doesn't matter that it's not quite 'perfect'.
Hurray - 1 potential Christmas present ( but I'm so proud I want to wear it myself!)
Hope you are all having a good evening and not too busy and stressed

I sat down at 9pm today - and then did a survey for a whole £1.50....

  • We all do it Savingholmes! Chin up, stay strong! You can mend your wandering ways! We're all here for you! Did the same myself, went to a Pampered Chef Party last night and had a £30 budget, maybe for a xmas pressie for someone else and ended up spending £57 on myself! Back to square 1 for me too! Better make good money with my 3 Virgin Vie parties this weekend to make up!

  • Hi everyone, after a good week we have allowed ourselves a bit of extra cash for this weekend. But the bit of extra is just not enough for what we need to do!! OH out tonight so needs money to buy his friend birthday drink. I have my two best friends coming around so I have got some wine and nibbles in. I allowed an extra £50, I have spent £20 on nibbles and £10 on essential bathroom stuff I needed!!! EEEKK!!!

I'm so behind with this diary and promise, promise I will read up and reply when I have time.

Love to YB, SC, SH - how are you all doing my friends??

KW & IC, thanks for keeping the thread going.

Love to you all, off to cook supper. I am sooooooo tired, need sleep and wine but not in that order!!!

    xx
