It's always been a £1 coin in our house.
My son had a wobbly tooth in Majorca and asked me what the Majorcan tooth fairy leaves, so I said a 1 euro coin. He was desperate for his tooth to stay in, as he said with the exchange rate, it was more profitable if his tooth fell out at home :rotfl:
It did as well and fell out on our first night home! Here I go again on my own....0 -

For my children I buy little ornaments from charity shops and put them under their pillow. The last one one of them got was a tiny ornament of some teddies sitting round a dinner table which cost me 30p but my daughter was really thrilled with it.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Stick it in brown sauce - or tomato sauce - or vinegar! (good old vinegar) for a few minutes and it will come up very shiny. (At least I think it will, I know it works on copper!)cheekymole wrote:I'm hunting the shiniest coin in the house right now
must own up - I didn't know that
Inflation, huh! A shilling in my day, 20p for my eldest, which I think went up to 50p over time, but now it's £1 for my 13 yo who is STILL losing them!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I always give £1 for a baby tooth, unless it needs help! The dentist had to take one out (a molar type at back) that was stuck in a hanging on and painful position and that cost me £5!!Comping Challenge £360 / reached Feb!
