Right everyone, today all I managed to do was wash the bedlinen and take neighbour to the doctors. I've made dinner and eaten too much, and now I'm all bloated. That'll teach me.

Toots I loved that post about the middlewife. Will have to send that on. I know a few people who would appreciate it.

Anyway, I've given up now cos it's bedtime.gif for mice.

See you all in the morning, and good luck to all of those teachers going back to work with the kiddiewinkles tomorrow.

    Night all,

Can she change the consultant? When I was pregnant with DD I refused to have the consultant asigned to me because he's the one who'd come up to me when I was recovering from an operation at 18 and said 'you'll never have children...next' as he moved on to the next bed. Two children later and not a turkey baster in sight i'm guessing he was wrong?!?! Is she happy with her consultant? Can she change? xx

I had pelvic inflammatory disease when I was 11 and was told that too.. talk about laugh in their face!! lol

Omg that's why I was told too. They did a big operation because it'd caused a cyst and basically said that's it, no kids. I went to the hospital and saw the same consulant when I was pregnant and said I wanted to change. He asked why. I told him what he'd said...he went very red and left the room. Probably never thought about it again but made me feel soooooooooooooo good xx

Triker...have you heard from your friend again? Have you tried the british consulate. I found this on the crete british consulate page:

Emergency And Out Of Hours Contact

All Consulates in Greece have an English speaking Duty Officer who may be contacted for help and advice regarding consular emergencies out of office hours. They can be contacted by telephoning +30 210 723 7727 in the first instance. The Duty Officer will respond to emergency calls within one hour.
