oh.. tonights drama.. it is grand in my house..

DS3 came SCREAMING down the stairs.. and I mean screaming like he had broken 6 limbs and set himself on fire!! COVERED.. literally.. in black FLOOR PAINT!!! Apparently it had 'fallen over' ALL over the blue bedroom carpet.. so now I have another carpet to replace.. as well as the one in the back room with the aluminium paint..

Can someone please remind me WHY I had children in the first place?? Other than to destroy everything I try and do to make their house nice.

Anyway.. tomorrow I have to go to the crappet shop and bat my pretty little eyes at the not so pretty chappy and get a massive discount off a new crappet for their room..

The redeeming point was.. I cleaned the bathroom and the loo..

Yup :D, but they made her get off the plane on tuesday as her daughter's friend had a nosebleed.A doctor insisted that they all get off!!!

Insurance company Flexicover refusing to book her flights back and have not returned calls from her or the rep, disgusting.

Trying really hard to find out whose in charge but struggling, anyone any ideas. She's there on her own as the only adult and she's v. upset.

  • Evening ladies, thought I would catch up with you all - too tired to look at the thread and post yesterday. Haven't been flying much for the last two days - have been back to work and also looking after dad - so bit tired and out of sorts - but have managed to keep the kitchen under control - have to unload DW now so I can reload after our evening meal - did a bit more today as dad came too extra veg and custard (with pudding not the veg!!) My bedroom isn't bad as I hoovered yesterday when I was doing the stairs and hall - have to dust but will do that tomorrow - may strip the bed if the weather is fair - if not will have to wait until the weekend
so here is my list - little though it is - and will try harder tomorrow - have to be up to scratch by the weekend as I have to fly in dad's too!!!

Right, snoozette time is well and truly over. Do feel better for it though I have to say.

Waiting on DS to bring some frozen chips home so I can start cooking dinner. He's already ridden past Asda, to come home for a wee, to ride all the way back to Asda to buy the chips. Must be a teenage boy thing.

I think I might go and walk the Dyson .Ah DS is back, so chips in first and then walk the Dyson. Do tea. Tidy up. Attempt to get my car to the petrol station on fresh air:rolleyes: to get petrol. Deliver some parcels. Bath DD and get her to bed for 7.30pm and no later. Mmmmm like it's all gonna run as smoothly as that I don't think:rolleyes:

    See ya later

Managed to cook the tea. Then discovered that DH had [STRIKE]stolen[/STRIKE] borrowed (never to be seen again) some pennies from my bag......... again:rolleyes: Which in turn caused the red mist to descend at a very rapid rate of knots.

So left him to dish up tea whilst I decided to deliver my parcels. It was either that or kill him really. Jumped in my car which he has been using. When I said earlier that it was running on fresh air I really wasn't joking. I put £6 in it and the fuel gauge has not moved from BELOW the empty. Red mist getting thicker by the minute.

Anyway delivered me parcels. Played very loud music all the way round, singing my head off of course and now I feel much better.:D Music does make me feel good. I've decided.

Got back. DS has vacated the house to stay at a friends tonight. And DH had put DD to bed, minus her bath. But 1 out of 2 ain't bad I suppose. So now I no longer want to kill him, I just don't like him instead.;)

I havent done anything off my list today, hubby been sleeping all day(night shift) so couldnt do anything in the bedroom. Now he's gone and i've lost my motivation. Sitting here eating cookie dough ice cream, Ben & Jerrys is half price at Mr T. Living room and kitchen still looking lovely though. Was going to study but think i'll leave it to tomorrow morning when she's at school. Will have an early night instead.

Reminds me of the time that DD decided that she wanted a blue and pink bedroom carpet. She painted it in nail varnish. Plus her walls, wardrobe, bed and herself.

The best one was when I had white glossed the landing bannister. She stuck a load of her clothes to it 'cos it was her washing drying'.

Kids...dontcha just love the little darlings.:D
