Hi Toots :hello: It must have been frustrating seeing everyone chattering away and not being able to join in! Mind you.. Valli's been working hard all day, so she's had to do a LOT of posting this evening to make up for it
Glad the hospital went OK - and hour late sounds pretty normal. I always try to remember to take good book! Fingers crossed the next lot of treatment goes well.
I only have wooden pegs too. Think of them as being greener than the pretty plastic ones
Today's list:
Tuesday Chuck - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs DONE
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything DONE
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe You think I’m brave enough to have clutter after a month of this thread?! I put away the bulk buy of recycled loo paper that was delivered the other day… I just need to find a home for the recycled kitchen roll that came with it!
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen Still clean
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure! DONE
Level 3
Wipe and water plants DONE
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it.. Hotspots all migrated to study where they belong!
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself DONE
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –- Filing.. find a pile and file it Well, moved it to the study…
- Wipe down any paintwork that needs it. All done last week, and still looking lovely and shiny!
- Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!! Nothing to fill it with… although I will start on the sitting room bookshelves soon
- HHI (did someone mention they needed one?) DONE
Not sure I'll get much done tomorrow... I may have trouble getting up in the morning (I've just see the time!), and I have a full day in the office followed by a houseful for the evening.
Night night all xxx0 -
Morning all
Another day, another dollar. It feels very autumnal here this morning. I'm just waiting for the forecast on the radio before I decide what to wear today. Layers are normally in order as my office can get very hot with all the equipment in it but I need to know the termperatures to determine the DEPTH of the layers!
Have a good day - will catch up with y'all laters.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

The car can be replaced. I remember reading that a lot of break-ins are mainly to get car keys. Not just fancy new cars, old bangers are worth a lot of money now in scrap metal.
I agree - I leave mine haning in the kitchen - I'd rather they found them, took the car and went than stayed in the house looking for them. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
