DS1 been on my 'puter doing his coursework so no time to post.

Johanne - thanks for posting the pics - I am struggling with flying big time right now and I don't have a baby like you

Serena so pleased your timetable worked out

DS2 and me are bit under the weather due to the storms - gives us both awful headaches and makes us feel sick. We had loads of lightening and now have howling winds.

Off to bed now but a quick note to self for tomorrow:

    DS2 sort astroturfs
    recycling
    dump
    golf lesson DS1
    Finalise trampolining DS3
    finish hall and downstairs toilet
    make soup
buy bread for packups for Thursday

DS2 to clean living room windows
    DS1 to finish coursework
Both to pack school and PE bags

ok not loads of space for flying tomorrow either then!

    Sleep tight ladies xx

Valli - go and do some ironing :D If you've run out, I'll send you some (or you can do Pigpen's, or Johanne's or any of the other people here who have some spare!

To answer your question... soup is reducing downstairs, iron has just been turned up for the next batch so I have two hands free to type - sadly my PC can't do that for me

MMMMMmmmmmm nearly a third of the way there. Not bad!!;)

Actually, I was partaking in a little late night flying in the kitchen. Otherwise I'd have stopped ya:D
  • Evening all,
Boy this thread is getting longer by the day.
Well I hoovered the stairs and the sweat just poured off me. Slight confession I hoovered around the clutter (which sit on some of the stairs). Am trying to remember to remove/move an item as I go up or down the stairs. Maybe next week will be better if I carry on clearing the clutter.

Sounds like lots of hugs are in order. Mum of 4, I would add a few routines to help put your mind at ease (you already sound so strong :A ).
Overnight light: Is there a light you could have on at night in the kitchen? Like the cooker hood light? Or buy a cheapie table lamp from wilkinsons and put an energy bulb in it? You need to give the impression of activity.
Lights: Do you have security lights?
Sound: If you're out during the day, put the radio on. At night - can you put the WM or DW on timer? I deliberately time mine so that they run consecutively and not at the same time - so there's always some sort of noise in the early hours.
Returning home late: Leave an upstairs light on too.

On the keys front I personally wouldn't take them to bed. If someone is mad enough to break in, they could be mad enough to do anything nasty to get your bag or keys. The car can be replaced. I remember reading that a lot of break-ins are mainly to get car keys. Not just fancy new cars, old bangers are worth a lot of money now in scrap metal.

Am not trying to panic us ladies, more prepare (as much as anyone can). :A

Feel very sleepy so will be off air soon. Master bedroom beckons tomorrow. The floordrobe is the challenge here. So little room, so much stuff!:o
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.
 Fab thread: Long daily walks
