Weekly Flylady Thread 1st September 2008

Hello ladies,
Finally got to the end of the thread - 4 pages since last night! I went to the supply agency this morning and did all of the paperwork, and the best news is that they said that I'm now on the fully qualified teacher day rate (£107) even though I've still got a term of my NQT year to go, as I've had a year's experience since I first started with them. It's only £5 more a day than what I was on last time, but at least it'll contribute to my petrol costs. I'm looking forward to going back to supply, and apparently they've signed up a lot more schools since I was with them last year, including some that are a bit closer to me, so I won't have to drive so far. They also said that they'd look into signing up some more schools in my home town as they now have a few of us on their books from where I live.
I've had lunch (left over pasta and marrow in cheese sauce) and I've burnt my tongue as I was starving when I got home, and couldn't wait for it to cool a little before I got stuck in - that'll teach me to be a piglet.
I'm feeling very sad, as there were loads of HHC this morning and I've missed them all, and now TAG has been such a good flylady, that her list is all done!
Does anyone feel like joining me in a HHC 2.15 - 2.45?
sexymouse xx

Hiya tooti
It's good to be home in a lot of ways though I'd really like to have stayed for the year as it would have been a great experience for DS and DD....still, you never know. It's not good to be home in that I'm not ready to start the school runs, after school clubs etc etc and i'm not looking forward to this school year as there are a lot of problems in the school. Still, i'll start with a positive attitude!!! Now, is it time for bed?:rotfl:xx
