It was dumped on my bed yesterday morning.. how could I say no?? Come for a cuddle.. she is dead cute! K will love her!!

How would I know about karoo.. I didn't get up until 11:45!!! We were out until silly o'clock this morning.. hubby was karaokeing in Bevvy.. how hideous is that?? LOL.. AND .. he was BBAAAAADDDD.. lol

I am running on paint fumes.. but REALLY looking forward to tomorrow.. must get everything sorted though.. The only thing we know its whereabouts are the shoes.. and that is only because they are all new in the boxes stacked in my room!! Tiddles can't wait.. she has been asking when they are going back since day 2... I do think the hols have gone really quickly though..

Hubby was complimented yesterday on how 'well disciplined' our children are... apparently enough to keep them in check but not too much to break their spirit, as they are all really individual, confident and happy children. Mad!! lol

'Scuse me Modom, if there's kittens that want cuddling then get ready for a 5 foot seven, large busomed, woman to come careering through your door asap.:D

    I luuurrvvvee ickle baby puddy's.

You deserve to be complimented on your offspring, they're excellent young people and children and well you know it.;)

I hope you have a broad smile upon your face in Mummy proudness and your lovely squiddlys.:D Like that <~

Right, hungry, need to eat something...catch you later folks. x

Yum, food sounds like a very good idea.

Kitchen floor swept and mopped. DD case unpacked and put away. 4 loads of washing brought in folded, in airing cupboard to air, on ironing pile or put away.
That was it for the HHC.

List to update, lunch to have, Neighbours to watch and then I'll be back to finish off for the day.

Thanks for the welcome G&B - we had a fab time and it now looks like moving over there is back on the cards though i'm not going to get too excited.

Pink fairy – I’m glad that DS’s girl friend is ok even if it’s an ‘ish’. I was wondering how things are going.
SS – sorry you had a carp holiday!
MrsV – hope you’re starting to feel settled in your new house.
Kaz – glad you had a good holiday and the weather wasn’t too rainy. Last time we went camping…no, I can’t think about it – much too distressing!!!
    Cammumof3 – welcome to flying!
Vanilla – great to hear that Bo is doing so well, you must be so relieved.
Pigpen - gorgeous kitten, my sister fosters kittens and had five when we were over there. Just as well I wasn't able to bring them home or i'd have had all five!!!

My list for today....sort out the last bit of unpacking, walk dog, clean a bit and try not to fall asleep xx
  • Hi All,

I was following this thread some time ago (but not posting), and was doing really well. Then I made a fatal mistake, and decided to take a night off. It felt SO good to come in from work and just sit down and chill in front of the TV instead of throwing myself into cleaning, that I just never started again! So a couple of months down the line my place is now barely habitable!

But I'm back in. And I'm actually going to try and post a list each day as well. (On work time, naughty me!) My BF came to stay last week, and there was so much dust he actually started wheezing when he came in the door. And no, he isn't asthmatic! (sp?) Oops.

So new month, new leaf, new attempt to make my house more man friendly, and at least try to fake being a domestic goddess.

One small thing though, I leave the house at 7am for work, and don't get back until at least 7.30pm. (Gotta love that London commute.) So I only get time to fly in the evenings, and if I start trying to update lists on here as well, I'll simply never get anything done. So I'm going to have to update my list a day behind all of you. Hope it doesn't get too confusing!

    Ok, here goes nothing:
Monday Mop- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
Clean the fridge and work anything that needs using soon into your meal plan

    (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Wipe all the windows in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Wipe out a dirty cupboard... get rid of everything you no longer need and make it all pretty and tidy!
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. S&S over the hob and oven
    2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
