Thanks ISOM
I think it was more concern that I was doing too much but I read it wrongly as I was and have been tired which for me always brings out the over emotional reaction. Its hard being told to do set hours and not take work home when I have been trusted to keep to my own clock for over 2 years and constantly travel with work documents.
Phased return may have been better but Im persevering and getting there at the moment. Cant wait for the weekend though.
I guess Im so fed up of being off work that I want to get back to normal ASAP. Not as easy to do as type.....
Not much else to report, more diesel needed yesteray, top up on groceries and £2 lunch. Dont know other costs as rely on OH. DD1 doing SATS this week. Seems to be going ok but she was tired tonight. Just one more to go and its her favourite subject so no pressure. DD2 playing up but she will learn.........or so I hope!:j0 -
Says something about temp boss really very inadequate managing on his behalf. Probably reason why he is a temp.
True about the emotion and feeling fragile as well as keeping one's independence. It's a wise move to just keep head down and get through the week, but if you find you need more time off then it would be best to take it as you could feel worse later. Take care.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks BOB
No when I say temp I mean she is and has been for years in charge of the dept Im doing work for. Shes my ex boss. I think she is a bit of a stickler for the rules not bad thing but my "new" role is more self management.
She could have handled it better though. Im doing them a favour by showing up doing work two grades below. I am grateful for the work though at least they offered.
Anyways storm in a teacup really 1 more work day before the weekend and as of tomorrow 8 days to cast off (fingers crossed).:j0 -

Quick little blighters at times aren't they? My DS could get through every device we had to protect him, so video shield was off in two seconds, plug covers would be prised from the wall, he could climb the stairgate and get a chair to get the keys off the hook for the back door..in the end it was easier and safer not too. He did like his play pen though and considered it his personal space, sisters not allowed:cool::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

The girls could get past the gates and were good enough not to need cupboard locks just socket covers for us. DS on the overhand didnt need to bypass the stairgates he would just wait until the girls left them open:mad:! Gave up before he was two he was fine on the stairs. Just about escaped cupboard locks but came close. DS unlike the girls saw the word NO as a challenge - How close can I get :rotfl:now but  at the time.
Very hard work but they are sweet when they are young.:j0
