Thanks - Yes I was in trouble JKyle was a highlight of the day .
Good day, only spend was the weekly shop at £55-60 so not too bad. Friend came around earlier for a :coffee: and we had a good laugh. She also said I had another ebay sale so thats approx another £9 to add to £13.50. She paid the other £3 that other day so thats in the pot.
DDs both had a good day, DS happy having a pyjama day and OH went to range and watched footie so a happy household tonight.
1 week 6 days to next fracture clinic so heres hoping its bye bye to cast or at least the ok to start walking on the foot again.:j0 -
Sounds like a good day, bet be good to get scratch that itch!!
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

OOh sounds like you have been through the mill recently KP..Glad you are back at work and feeling better.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

That is luxury, when I had my arm in plaster, stay on cast, had a knitting needle for emergency measures!!

Hello KP!!!! Found your diary!! :j
great that you are back at work, and even better, that you are happy to be back at work! How long have you been off?
How did you end up with your leg in plaster?? Sorry I've only gone back a few pagesbut presume it would have been quite a few weeks ago, if the plaster is coming off soon?
And grrrrr to children who trash their rooms and expect the bin bag fairy to come in and clean it up!!!!!!0 -

Hello all
Welcome to my ickle thread Bob
Mogchops, Yes it has been an interesting year so far. Had a carp end of 08 with Mum being ill and me doing to much so I had a breakdown in Jan leading to 5 weeks off with stress. Went back part time until April and the day before I was due to go back full time I broke my ankle/leg in two places needing 5 days in hospital and two ops. Cant put weight on the leg for 6 weeks and I have 1 week 5 days to go not that Im counting or anything!!
 kids, it has to be genetic to not go through with the want to strangle them at times! Wait until this bin bag fairy gets two working legs again itll be car boot time with a vengence.
M21 yes OH said get a knitting needle even though the hospital tells you not to apparently you need to use a cool hair dryer. When I had the solid cast I did get the odd itch but was able to live with / ignore it. I dont think Id have kept that up if I didnt have the removable one.
Shaun, I think the gist of that is how are things? If so all ok Tesco all delivered £60 thanks to a sub but ok. DS unhappy at no rice crispie sques but I wont pay 2.18 for 4
DDs have put clothes away so just their room to do. No idea how bad it is? DS in bath blowing bubbles so interesting sounds from there at the mo. He loves making car noises. OH thinks jump starting his car with DD1 driving is better than Chelsea/Arsenal. Me Im about to watch F1.
Just off to check the rest of the updates and see how you all are.:j0 -

Hi Shaun sorry to read on Hypnos thread things still not going your way. As if being disabled isnt enough to worry about let alone young children and money
.
It does get easier as the kids get older, no constant watching, they can do things themselves although they need constant reminding . I still dont know why I still have to list everyting ie tell them to do their teeth does not mean they will think to get changed let alone wash themselves . Couldnt do the lack of sleep thing anymore its hard to remember how bad it was. I just learnt to sleep in the day especially weekends but then again I had OH about.
Hope things ok feel free to vent go barking or whatever here. Venting is goooood!:j0
