  • Thanks M21 he seems good yesterday has two more chomo treatments to go which doesnt sound at all pleasent.Said I would have her DD over (as she is a friend of DD2) to play.

Only signed off for two weeks to need to see the Doc again to be assessed again. I will ask for more time off.

Did 95% of paperwork yesterday just a bit to find homes for. Targeting the bedroom today. Things are moving along just very slowly.

  • Added quite a few items on ebay today have about 9 listings on the go. Another 2 ended today resulting in just over a £1 profit. Decided to sell my unused set of make up brushes I treated myself to before xmas so hoping to get around £40 by the time costs allowed for. One item due to finish tomorrow so that needed to make £9 profit for me to hit the £10 target so need it to sell for around £12.

Only one spend today £14 on a grocery top up. All this time off work means I am losing track of the days , keep thinking tomorrow is Monday!

Month end DDs going through so back into OD. Wasnt sure what to do but decided to put £250 into savings even though I will lose a bit on interest. I want to save the £244 as per my budget.

Mum hopefully out tomorrow PM she still sounds really good on the phone.

Kids ok DDs are both having their moments but I am handleing it ok and Oh has been supportive. DD2 is struggling with her sleeping chart. I am being flexable but cant do too much or it defeats the object. The problem then is she works herself up and gets upset about not getting her reward Aaaargh. Attention seeking trick at the moment is cramp in the foot around bed time.

At least Jan over with in a couple of hours onwards and upwards for Feb.

Good for you with the chip shop, we all deserve a treat, sounds like ur going through the mill with dd and her bedtimes, hope shes gets sorted sound, I would really ask for some more time off work, I knwo you have got a lot sorted in the 2 weeks, but I still think theres a lot more u need to get sorted out.
Good with the ebay items, hope u get the buyers, should have a sort out and see if theres anything to go on, know dd grown out of her swimwear, that usually goes.
Glad OH been supportive, if your both reading off the same hymn sheet its half the battle, I know here, dd is very gd at going to mum and saying nanna, mummy said no.........usually half the time I havent spoken, but guess she knows the answer would be no!!

Heres to a new month and another month of debtbusting and getting our lives on track xx

^^^ what she said! You've done a lot there, KP, well done you, especially the decluttering, I *love* the effect of decluttering. Your ebay sounds good too, I don't really have anything to sell, sadly!

And more time off sounds essential, I hope that works out.

  • hi there...you didnt offend me - just had a busy week and struggling to keep up but do get quite defensive when people slag ssd off because while ack that there se some carp sw's the majority make huge sacrifices to keep an overburdened system working...in fact I know that if most sw's didnt do alot for nowt the system would just crash and there would be no service so find it hard when people outside just see the bad bits iykwim! in terms of childcare were damned if we do and damned if we dont tbh...cant win either way! Anyway...just wanted to explain! Also annoying that professions like dr's teachers etc get praised and we have to do the hard stuff and noonw ever recognises it!! Sorry will shut up now...obviously something I'm passionate about but would say kick butt if youneed to - I would to ensure that the services were obtained - let me know if I can help in this.
hope you will take some time to slow down...please! I know some stuff needs doing but youve been exhausted and recharging means slowing down!! if you dont slow you wont top up!!
hugs for you! here if you want to chat!

  • Thank you that means alot. I promise not to do too much. Today has been quiet other than picking Mum up and doing some online shopping with her. Bedroom still a tip! Will ask for the extra time off to make sure I dont relapse.

Hope this week is a bit easier on you. When you have a bit of free time Id love another chat.
