I don't bloody need the goods. It's garbage. If I get my money back then if you want I'll send the remote switch to you. Just pay the postage and see for yourself.

Its garbage according to you but for all we know it works fine.

While I think trying to rip someone for such a small amount of money isn't possible looking at your other posts has made me think again.

I'm done arguing with you. It's pointless. It's clear you are on the seller's side and I'm the worse in this case. Maybe a video to show you how the remote switch really does not work. Nah, you'll just say it has been edited to show it is not working.

I'm on the sellers side because you seem more then happy to try and rip him off.

To me now weather it works or not its irreverent.

So what that means is at the end I pay like £2 for a lot of hassle and nothing else.
That is just not right. What would you suggest?
Please help. It is not about the money, it is for my rights. I will feel like an idiot if I let them do that.

Pay your £2 and send the thing back. You should not feel bad over this. Things like this happen and the best thing to do is to accept the loss and move on. No, it's not right but if it's the worst thing that happens to you this year then I think you're doing OK.

This is the best thread on here for ages. Thank-you Cyper.

Let us know how you get on with your bank, that should be an interesting call.

Have you considered the help of any of the following,

    a) Citizens Advice Bureau
    b) A solicitor
    c) A barrister
    d) Perry Mason
    e) The Samaritans
    f) opening a separate Paypal account to get donations to raise your return postage, I'd volunteer 23p for entertainment value.

    No, I did not.
I have obtained them lawfully by placing an order.
In fact I retained them not against their owner's will, because the owner did not want to pay for their bags being returned to them
    They said nothing like this.
Consumer Direct told me explicitly that I am correct in my assumptions and the owner should pay to get the bags back, because they were sent in mistake (not mine).

But you were refunded on the understanding you would send them back.

I think the moral here for you is: stop buying things on the internet.

Oh, look, the returns policy for Play.com. "In these cases we will also refund the return postage."

I can't believe the credit card backed you up on that one.

Good advice. I'll sleep on it and decide what to do tomorrow.

I was refunded by the bank, not the retailer.
I'm not paying to send back something I did not order.
Last post from me on the bags story.
