After a new PC but not Vista

The main problem with Crysis is the absolute dismal engine that Crytek put together for it. If they had have spent any time optimising it to a satisfactory point then it would have actually ran well. Crytek then got in a big hissy because it was pirated to the high heavens and people realised that a) the mess it was required a mammoth set up to run well and b) it wasn't actually that good anyway.0

ah, but when a machine can run it well, it does look very, very niceUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

I'll give credit to Crytek for implementing such awesome physics into the game, that really did add a new dimension to the experience and yes it does look good. It's just a shame that the latter half of the game seemed completely rushed etc.
I personally can't wait for Farcry 2, the first one was one of my favourite games because it was simply mindblowing and I hope my pre order comes early0 -
I have Vista Home Premium on my main pc and there's no way I'd switch back to XP. .I've found Vista to be far more reliable.0

You can pick up XP OEM versions at both scan and dabs likewise you can get OEM Vista.
Yep there were loads of problems with vista when it first came out and there were loads of problems with XP too, but I think the main issue now is that XP was, I wont say popular its microsoft after all, almost universal.
So loads of us use it at work and home and now cant see the piont of learning something new or 'upgrading' to something that wont honestly make too much difference, apart from to your wallet.
So now XP is still trucking on even though the shiney new Vista is available and Vista is due to be replaced in 2010 (bbc news website).0 -

...championship manager 01/02...
You start to realise you've been playing it too much when:
a) You start having dreams about it.
b) You're playing in the game year 2022 and all the players who were playing at the start have long retired.
c) Your girlfriend nearly breaks up with you because of it"We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have been doing so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing."

What a fantastic game it is though. Never got into the football managers or recent championship managers though.
Ive got 01/02 patched/updated up until last transfer window (jan 08). Will be updating again as soon as the new patch is available.0
