Hi, medium hamper brimming with cards, and products(keep a list of whats in it if you can)plus 4 or 5 brochures so they can be passed around the office, with about 20 triplicate order forms-make a laminated note to tie to hamper lid with easy bullet points of how to order /and or take stock from basket.
HTH!!! If receptionist very helpful and to encourage I offer them 10% off their order.
when people make their orders do they pay for them when they write their order and then you just deliver them a couple of weeks later. or do they pay on delivery? and is there anychance i could see a copy of your laminate sheet, is it a word doc.?
this is a great idea and i am very interested in doing it, need to get a hamper... maybe charity shop0 -

Does anyone advertise in their local area e.g. in a shop window, local newspaper etc. and have you found the advertising to be successful?
Thank you to all OPs

"we achieve 2 orders out of each 100 cats dropped, and aim for £20 in total orders."
I did one catalogue drop a couple of weeks ago to get me started. I just did twenty houses - it was a small close. I got seven orders for £120 retail altogether, and have had one come back with another £20 order and one request for an info pack.
I found celloing and bagging up the orders a lot of work, not sure I would repeat it if I wasn't going do so well.

I'll try to leave a link to my templates for my baskets later!
Just says who I am, how to order etc. Its nothing special!!
I ask for all or 50% of the order total whatever they are happy with, I just put a large pink envelope in the basket and its trust really, not had any probs so far and a bit cheeky maybe but I always say to the receptionist I have a full list of the contents of the basket so dont worry if someone forgets to write something down-makes them think I know what I'm doing??!!!
Got my baskets from an ex trader but have seen lots on ebay and a friend put a request on Gumtree and got some.
Just bumped into an old friend, got talking and she popped in bought £60 of products ordered 4 advent calenders and took info on signing up!!! Better than a whole day on Saturday.
I guess we all have to do what works for us. I won't be doing any more fetes or fairs for a while, at least at home I'm with the children and orders trickle in with no outgoings.0 -

I moved here about 18 months ago, and thought it'd be a good idea to help me get to know people - it's a very reserved area.
It's a 1980's road of detached and semi bungalows, mostly owner-occupied. I'd say it was about 1/3 young families - lots of advent calendars and fairy cards, giftwrap etc. The other 2/3 rds are mostly retired - about half Christmas cards and half general cards.
I was pleased, though I expect it was partly acknowledgement that it was my road, and partly novelty - makes a change from Betterware etc.
I have given catalogues to friends and have steady orders from their friends, so I have just made up one of the folders from the business pack to try. Has anyone else done that?

Hi All,
We are in this for the long term, and obviously will be building a downline. That's why we wanted to try/do things that "Anyone can do". So there is very little stress in our technique, and it is easily duplicatable and easy to explain, making it simple for everyone to do. The people who are more business minded and want targets and pressure can then build that on top of the simple initial process.
We are looking for small returns at the mo, so long as we do 211 pds a month it puts us where we want to be, so we only need 100 from doordrops the rest comes from fetes/fairs and usual friends and family connections.
Keep Smiling0
