After reading through, yes, it is getting a tad annoying, the same question being asked again and again! All the replies you peeps have given have been very restrained!
With regard to a thread pinned at the top of board re: comps ending lists. Good idea in theory, but if people don't join and read through all the threads already pinned (to help them get started) what makes you so sure they'll read that one! Worth a try, but I'm not optimistic it'll work!

What gets me in all of this, is that we are on the 5th of the month, thats 5 whole days without the lists and some peeps are only just noticing, so if the peeps who are only just noticing are that bothered what have they done for the last 5 days???, they havent comped daily obviously and so are only entering here and there, so if they have missed 5 closing days worth why worry about the 6th??? xxxxxx

I suggest everyone reads these COMPING GUIDE, RULES, EXPIRY DATE and we'll all get along just fine.

The sniping started because of being too nice (posting comps ending lists making for lazy compers), and now the 'worm' has turned and people have to - heaven forbid - 'change' and do a little sorting of their own.

Now the Ending threads have gone - I would hope the BG's decide to keep them away, because people who want to comp as a hobby will be willing to do that little bit different and become part of the comping community, because they enjoy what they do, those who are in it for a quick fix will fade out because it is a chore to them now.

It is frustrating at the minute but the queries will soon stop, the arguments will soon disappear, and we will no longer be compared to the freebie board (there is a reason that message is there and not here)
