However, if I enter too many closing comps via Google, it gets nasty with me and temporarily closes down.

That's interesting. It happens to me too. I thought it was a vagary of my computer but maybe it's Google fighting back??

    Good luck on comping

Computertec, I did not have the chance to follow this thread but I hope that you will be able to join back soon.

After your great comps ending 1st of September (and making few MSEs win washing machines :T ), I think you owe yourself a beer, but that's it for your time off :D.

Please try to come back soon x

It made my eyes go a bit funny re-sorting then finding the closing comps, but I got used to it. However if I do a google search by end date, I get more results than, say, comps ending on 05/09 which seems a bit sparse in comparison.

However, if I enter too many closing comps via Google, it gets nasty with me and temporarily closes down. I thus concluded that I could google the closing comps and use this as a checklist to find comps on MSE.

    what do others think

As has been mentioned before, if you google comps on mse it will bring up comps from previous years. So if you google E: 05/09 - you could get comps from 2008, 2007, 2006.......
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Why check, its not the end of the world to miss a comp.

Just forget about todays, they maybe in game over, hence the sparse showing when you sort threads.

Get in front of yourself and sort the threads out for 06/09 onwards. Read back in this thread to see how easy that is to do now.

I find it so amazing how well the threads display when sorted. Good luck in getting in front, its worth doing.
