Well said Kisto. :T2017 Wins: £200 (Total since 2008: £43,827!)Best wins: £5000 with ITV , Trips to New York fashion week/Malta/Lake Como/Paris/London/St Mellion spa, iPhones, iPad, TVs, vouchers
May-Oct: 0 Nov: £200.100 -
I have followed Kistos instructions (many thanks  ) and have found the September 3rd comps I wanted to enter.......but no sign of the September 2nd ones.......
Is that because they are moved to the Game Over section and therefore don't get "found" when we re-arrange the posts????
I like to do comps on the day they end............so search for AND enter todays ending comps today - but I cannot seem to find them.
Can anyone advise a confuzzled middle aged lady who cannot seem to click in the right place!!
I am still clicking away, trying to answer my own question (see quote above if anyone can help me)
My quest for todays comps (but it will be the same question everyday for the comps that end on THAT day) continues............ :rotfl:
When I look in Game Over, there are only a few comps showing as
"E: 02/09" so does the title get changed when it is moved to Game Over?
Is that why I cannot find them?
And on a purely "why is that" basis (and not wishing to ruffle anyones feathers who works so very hard on this forum because the amount of effort you put in is amazing!! :T ) but why doesn't putting
"E: 02/09 Win" in the search box work???
Is it too short? Or does search not work on numbers?
I am intrigued to find out why the search facility can be so good at finding somethings but not seem work at all with the dates......
Or am I just doing it all wrong? :rolleyes:October 2008 wins - £250 Red Letter Day, Taken Tshirt, cap & memory stick, Strongbow magnets & glasses, Peroni Bowls & bottle openers, Fogarty duvet & pillow, Horrid Henry book, trip to Disney Paris for 7 and a week of Galaxy car hire, £100 Ocado voucher, Nivea face cream, Ambipure air fresheners, DS game0 -
I do not understand how the competitions are working now!
I always used the thread of ending today
is it still somewhere0 -

The search engine doesn't recognise numbers and no we don't put Game Over in the title they just get moved
*edited to add*
Stop looking for comps ending 02/09, I've just checked in the Game Over thread and they are already there, if you want to do 03/09 they are on about page 5 if you do the thread sorting0 -
search and you will find0

We're having a break from the comps ending threads. They were only an informal thing anyway - most people enter as the comps are put on here.
If you have a look at the sticky at the top of the comps forum (called something like ending dates) then there are some useful pointers there. Also, have a look at the comping guide that VelvetGlove put together (also a sticky on the main forum page), and there is loads of advice there too.
Hope that helps:)

I am finding it baffling.. I mean.. I can do it.. however, the comps ending list was a nice checklist... so you knew you hadn't missed anything... kind of thing!
Does that make sense?
I find it does take longer to do it the other way, as I am adding subscriptions for absolutely everything.. but then I reckon come the end of the night I can just scan read through the whole 100 pages to see what I have missed out... I hope...:cool:0
