The search engine doesn't recognise numbers and no we don't put Game Over in the title they just get moved
*edited to add*
Stop looking for comps ending 02/09, I've just checked in the Game Over thread and they are already there, if you want to do 03/09 they are on about page 5 if you do the thread sorting
Thanks for the reply - not recognsing numbers in the search explains that :T so that's one new piece of info for my poor old brain to store
My other point wasn't necessarily about 02/09 comps.....
Just about comps that finish today.....ANY today! :rotfl:
I am having NO problems finding future comps using the sorting method explained so perfectly by Kisto - thanks again
What my addled brain is struggling with is how to find comps that end on the day I am sorting the list on........03/09's come up beautifully today but 02/09's don't, hence my question.
Presumably tomorrow, 04/09's will come up easily.......but the ones ending on 03/09 may not.
And I did look in Game Over (honest) and only found a few that said 02/09........whicch is why I wondered if the title got changed when it was moved to Game Over!!
lol
Off to lie down in a darkended room with a glass of sherry now - night all!October 2008 wins - £250 Red Letter Day, Taken Tshirt, cap & memory stick, Strongbow magnets & glasses, Peroni Bowls & bottle openers, Fogarty duvet & pillow, Horrid Henry book, trip to Disney Paris for 7 and a week of Galaxy car hire, £100 Ocado voucher, Nivea face cream, Ambipure air fresheners, DS game0 -
Can anyone tell me why we don't have the comps grouped in closing dates anymore?
I'm sure it is written somewhere but where?
It was ever so easy before!!!Thanks to those who help us to win !0 -

The only reason the 03/09 comps won't show is if they have been moved to Game Over
Game Overing is usually done a couple of times a week and I'm sure that if the comps end on the day Game Overing is done they will remain until the next Game Overing shift (dependant on the time a BG does them!)
For example, I am doing the Game Overing on Friday.... I will move everything up until the 4th as Friday is the 5th
Hope that makes sense!0 -

Ok, I need to say something! All I have read on here since yesterday is confusion and comments regarding the 'list' not being here. I don't understand the problem with entering comps 'normally'. It seems as if some people have become institutionalised when it comes to the comp ending lists. How hard can it be to start at the last page and work forward?
As soon as you've finished for the day make a note of where you are upto and then carry on the next day from that point. I've been entering that way for nearly 2 years and never had any problems in where I am upto, missing comps etc. Try it, its not difficult!
NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT!
