I'll see what I can get into the Guide :) Thanks for doing another amazing clicky Cheeky!
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
  • Thanks for the reply Kipper. I need to be more organized!

If you do search for comps the new way, you'd easily be able to bypass the out of date ones anyway as they would be grouped :)
  • Quick question... yesterday or there abouts someone mentioned an add on to Firefox called 'quick snaps' which opened multiple links by drawing a box round them. I tried to download it but it doesn't work with the new version of Firefox, are there any other equivalents available that anyone can recommend please.

Its snap links you need. I have managed to download it on the latest firefox but can't find the link I used, hopefully someone else will be able to point you in the right direction

    IMPORTANT:
End date format is vital to cluster the comps which end on a certain date together. To help us to politely let our fab comp posters know that their thread title needs to be corrected, Cheeky has made us all another smilie (which can also be used with the accompanying text if you want- simply copy & paste it all - don't forget to change the xxx to the OPs name ;)):

Hi xxxx, please would you be able to add/amend the end date in your thread title so that it follows the forum rules for end dates, posted here again by diva. This will also make it much easier for other compers to find your comp when the end date is getting near - so more people can enter it! It will also make it a bit easier for our Board Guides, who have to find the ending ones to move them into Game Over. Thanks! :)

This is what I've added into the Guide in post #8. I'm hoping this will help (saw further back that someone was keen on some wording to go with the smilie so the OP doesn't feel attacked/upset/peeved/hurt/etc - hopefully the wording I've put up there with the smilie will do the trick :))

Feel free to use it / not use it as you want. If you highlight the smilie (& the text if you want it) then copy & paste it into your reply box it should give you a clickable smilie to diva's thread & if you've used the words as well then the OP will see the link to diva's thread :)

Hi, I've been entering the comps for about a month now was using the comps ending list. Now I'm entering the ones that are posted that day but I was wondering if anyone keeps track of the competitions they enter and how they do it?

I was thinking about starting a spreadsheet document for it (would probably get too lazy after a couple of days but worth a try) but haven't a clue how to set it out. Does anyone do this?
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

I just click the thanks button on all the comps I enter, so if the thanks button isn't there I know I have entered it.

You can also subscribe to the comps you have entered which means a little blue tick will appear against all the comps threads you've entered.

Some people do use spreadsheets but I'm not organised enough lol, I find the above methods work fine

If you click on 'Thread Tools' at the top of the OP, then 'Subscribe to this thread'. It'll then take you to a window asking you to confirm subscription.

That will put a tick next to the comp so you know you've entered (or don't want to).
