Phone/Internet/Line rental £25 (fluctuates slightly according to calls made)
TV license £11 and a few pence
Various CC's 1.2k down £800 Overdraft £1.5 down £2000 loan 1.5k last payment made today Tax Credit overpayment (HMRC mistake!) £19,5k written off !

Contents and buildings insurance are extremely important, far more important than a mobile phone contract or sky.
As is Life Insurance if you have a mortgage home or dependant children.

Council Tax £90 (£108 over 10 months)
Electric £50 (needs reviewing & will prob be increased:eek: )
Gas £51 (ditto above....)
B & C insurance £26.28
Water £27.37 (Pay £41 over 8 months..)
TOTAL: £838.09 and only going to go up over the next 6 months:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

I worked out an average monthly cost to keep my house running to show my brother. He lives with me but has been a full time student up until now so hasn't paid anything towards his keep really.
Rent - £700
Water - £23
Council Tax - £95 (will change next month as brother will be 18)
Electric - £30
Gas - £10 (increases in winter)
Total = £858
3 bed semi in greater London. Me, DD and brother (but he has a shock coming now he is working full time, will have to pay proper rent :j )Lightbulb moment Dec 2005 - debt £23700
