Apparently BT are offering a Voyager 2091 wireless adsl modem/router to current subscribers for only £10, but you need to make it clear you are a current subscriber (think it is only the wireless hub, no adapters but still cheap at £10 )
couple of people at work got it
you need to be on option 3 or 4 BtBroadband to get this...1 guy paid £10, the other got it for free !! + will be delivered on the 15th November
give them a call at 0800 0856161
it now appears they got it wrong early !!!
£10 to option 4 subscribers
£25 to option3 subscribers

Just phoned and got this offer with absolutely no problem. To be delivered on 16th November, and then I take the invoice to the Post Office and pay for it.
I have already got a wireless modem/router, which I only purchased a couple of weeks ago, which cost me £58 with a USB adaptor.
Don't suppose it will hurt to have another, especially at a bargain price of £10!! :T0 -
glad you got it, think there were some problems early on with not all the operators being breiefed about the offer but that seems to have been sorted now

option 3 is the 20gb allowance one
option 4 is the 40gb allowance one
think the other options were the ones known as broadband basic, so don't qualifyEx forum ambassador

I'm on option 3 - the operator told me it would cost £25.0

When i spoke to an operator I just mentioned that I had been told about the wireless router offer for £10, and she said yes to it straightaway.0

Rung up again to clarify the terms of the offer. Apparently the free or £10 wireless modem offer only applies to new customers or those upgrading from an option 1 or 2 tariff. As I'd be staying on the same tariff, the special price for me would be £25

I'm on what is now Option 4 and have had an email from BT telling me that the Voyager wireless modem/router is £10 and I followed the link in the email to place the order.
The modem was £10 and I would also point out that your BT Broadband payments now become part of your phone bill and are not paid separately, as mine currently are, from when I originally joined BT in 2002.
Also, you are committing yourself to a minimum 3 month contract period if your 12 month minimum has passed.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Is this router any good? Can't find the specifications for it anywhere! I know £10 is very cheap, but I still would like 4 ethernet ports at least. TIA.0
