Stef, I've had a check on the health & beauty board, apparently Boots sell some sort of hair stripper
that gives me an excuse to go Bootsing tomorrow :rotfl: I had to snigger about the paintbrush.
I think the goth look was enhanced by the pale foundation and black eyeliner she slapped on.
What a difference to the little blondie on my facebook picsOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
How come the thread title says OD not OS?
We're not online dating are we?
I think it's because everyone has OverDone it with MSE being off. Or we're OverDosing on the vino.
Sybill. Hopefully if you make little bear's porridge in the slowcooker it will be safe from Goldilocks' thieving mits. :cool:0 -

I think he'd prefer it if I told him it will produce 50% proof cider than apple juice.:D The M&S !!!!!! voice is a definite maybe though. :think:0 -
holds hands up to ODing on the vino, well am missing my DGD already and although the vino is no substitute its making me laugh, well giggle anyway.
I remember one time when DD had a disaster with her hair dye she used tomato sauce on itbut think that was when it went orange and it was to take the red out. Can ask her tomorrow for advice WAT she has had her hair every colour under the sun and some, and some disasters too! As you can see on me facebook she has black hair now,
again as she used to be blonde! she says the roots are a b****r but shes happy with black for now....methinks .....new baby....hair dye.......natural might be easier.
I once dyed my hair and it came out 'sainsburys orange' had to pay DS to go and get me another dye for it :rotfl: turned out expensive!whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

a year or so ago dd(19) called me sobbing - couldn't get anything out of her and she was so upset i thought that dgs was ill at the very least. turned out her friend had dyed her hair blond - it hadn't taken so they did it again. Her hair was the colour of forzen prawns with the texture of fragile straw. £60 at Headmasters put it straight - they were brilliant and when her hair grew out you could't see the "join"I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Evening peeps
I`m giving you advanced warning of any typo`s as i have a poorly hand.
Been back from hospital for about an hour, the nice doctor has given me 2 huge packs of tablets and i have to take 2 every 4 hours
These are fast turning into the most expensive blackberries ever picked lol, first the prescription and the time spent for the hospital journey and then a takeaway as it was far too late to start cooking when we got home.
My hand is enormous and red and hot and itchy. The doc drew all over it in biro to highlight the area and also pointed out that the infection had started tracking all the way up my arm which i missed because of my watch, i was more concerned with being able to get my wedding ring off
DH is helping himself to the bottle of wine and i can`t have any cos of the tablets.:(
On a more positive note i got all the shopping done with dad and some bits and pieces around the house before i started to be a bit poorly so not all bad, i also made blackberry flapjack in the remoska so i might have a nibble of those shortly.
Big doggie and little doggie are both playing with their raggers so there is a lot of grumbling going on, i think i`ll pop into the kitchen to see if there is anything cold that i can actually drink besides water.
I`ll see you all in the morning
Have a good evening peeps.

Hi guys,
We went to the market as planned and we managed to get LO some shoes for school - flashing ones that he loves. He makes me laugh with his shoes as they are velcro fastenings and he has to re-adjust them every time I put them on him, the velcro must sit pefectly  on the fastenings.
We also got the obligatory comics for each and some little toys for them. I also managed to get a 2.5kg block of red leicester cheese from the meat van for £12 which I have portioned and frozen, also I got a huge carrier bag of minted lamb chops for £10. (currently there are some in the oven to wash down the little drinky I'm having.;) )
My sister took them out to the beach for the afternoon and I was able to brush and hose down the top of the drive and my BIL moved the car back up there. I hope to get the other half tidied out tomorrow.
I have watered the lawn yet again  and the house has been tidied and hoovered through. I am going to tackle my Saturday crossword in a min.
Big gentle hugs to all in need.
Goodnight,
Smoky. xxxxxIf you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape 100 days of sorrow.......Chinese proverb

Just got a text rom Mr Caring Sharing to say shall he drop dd home tonight. I texted yes please - got one back to say he's changed his mind and is driving to his as it's too far and what was I thinking of. Can't figure out if that was thoughtlessness or just plain cruel.
