It's great to be back! Thankfully I didn't miss the site too much because I've been working all day. Just home and having a glass of wine.
I'll add this thread into today's daily where everyone is talking about what they got up to today while the site was down.

Hi all
hope you are all well.
Just had a spat with OH, it doesn't happen very often but I'm annoyed at being left with all the housework yet again, given I work longer hours and am trying to write up  So I stormed off to work and have just screwed up my e-mail program... Ahhgrhh... *hates outlook*
Didn't do much this morning, picked another bag of blackberries, which are straining to make jelly in the kitchen at the moment - they will be done when I get back.. so at least my rage is efficient in it's timing
Still, back to deleting the multiple copies of evrything I've created *sigh* Only another 6000 messages to go through manually.love and hugs, cel x
:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Hi all - isn't it great to be back up and running?! I've missed you all but got loads done including lots of baking and some work in the garden. I know we need this scheduled maintenance but it feels so strange knowing that we can't just log on when we feel like it.
Anyway, (((hugs))) to all and I hope you've all had a good day. Will catch up tomorrow!
Have a great evening!

Hi everyone
Welcome back to us!

....... and we're back - goodnes I've missed you all
Pretz - I fill the five mnute breaks with a little light housework - the rest of the time I'm here LOL
Well the painting goes on and on but i did get a bit distracted clearing the craft magazine shelves and now have 27 projects to start.
Waited in all day for the princess only to get a text from Mr Sharing Caring to say that they are on the 9pm ferry tonight and that he will drop her off tomorrow after getting the rest of the school things. I feel really horrid now - if he had told me that she owuld be home tomorrow it would have been ok but in the week he told me she would be home today. I made her a date and pecan loaf to celebrate and have comfort eaten a quarter of it already
DD(19) sent me a picture of dgs(3) with his lovely afro all shaved off - he looks really grown up and ready for school at the end of the month but I love his curlsI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Evening all,
I missed you all as well!!! Very strange.... Beth, we'd all gradually find each properly on facebook if we really had to I suppose, but it's not the same as here
Blairweech, well done on your bargain of the day - bet you can't wait for it to be delivered..!!!! And how lovely to have a day where you just feel happy for no particular reason
Dazi, glad you had a good time catching up while you were down here, I did try & make the weather behave, just that the sun arrived a little late...
On a mission to create some privacy in my garden from pervy horrible neighbour now & bought some rose arches from Argos (on bogof). They're not fantastically strong but will do for the purpose I want. Also bought a beautiful 'David Austin' climbing rose in pale pink as a starter for climbing up the arches..
SunnyD, I made the french loaf, did the whole thing in the BM but not sure if I'm overkeen. Might just do the dough next time & shape it into baguettes.
Also went to the Tea Garden at Litlington (very civilised) and then mooched round the crystal store, and got a couple just by instinct, and was slightly spooked when their properties/meanings were explained to me...
Not usually my sort of thing but found it quite fascinating.
Anyway, tucked up in bed now, pleased to have MSE back

:T Evening, I've made a couple of apple pies today and I've confirmed with my friends that I'm ok to go and pillage their orchard
My main disaster was in dying Miss Twit's hair.....she chose the colour and it's a little darker than she wanted [STRIKE]goth black [/STRIKE] a lovely colour though *ahem* made worse by the fact that I couldn't get on here to find out how to strip out the colour.
Blairweech, well done on the pantry.....what a result. :T
