Aaaaaarrrrr sweet !!!!!:j
Really happy your kitty came home....
She may have a second family (but as she came home starving - probably not)
We think our cat has a second adopted family as she stays out up to 12 hours at a time:eek:

Thanks everyone, well my little darling reappeared yesterday morning. Went out into garden yesterday morning, was about to call her and she came bounding down the garden, miaowing.
Reckon she had been locked in a shed or garage as she was clean, no signs of fighting. She was starving as hadn't had anything to eat since Thursday, Hopefully she won't do that again!
Im so pleased she came home x:jSeptember wins: 101 Love songs album 5 cds - Bowtime Fridge magnet!? - So..? Exciting perfume Set

the idea of placing some items of their bedding or your clothing in your garden is a good one - cats have very sensitive smell. she will recognise her territory.
i had a cat that used to disappear for two weeks every summer, it was like he was going away for his annual holiday! he always came back.
hope your little makes it home safely very soon x
Maybe all the cats have a 'Spring Break' event that they attend every year where they get high on catnip and party!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
:rotfl: brilliant (and reassuring) idea !0

LOL I think my cats have missed out then because they haven't gone missing yet (fingers crossed and touch wood!!).
Engadine I am so glad your cat came back! It must have been really worrying, I don't know what I would do if either of mine went missing.0 -
It's the first time either of them have done anything like this. They aren't out long enough normally for anyone of them to have a second family, really do think she has got locked in somewhere. She is really nosey and I locked her in our garage a few weeks ago for a couple of hours as she had sneaked in behind me and I hadn't noticed her.
She hasn't been out again since she came home:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

Oh thank god! I was reading this quickly trying to get to the bottom and sooooo please she's home!
It happened to me a few months ago, one of my boys didn't come home and they are like yours and don't wander that far. He came back about 24hrs later, think he'd been locked in a garage or something. We were in bits and didn't sleep, we were still up at 3am wandering the streets!
I bet I know how happy you were when you saw her0 -
I must also add. When i cant find my dogs (which is totally different) Around my house i get worried. But they are just so ignorant when i shout them LOL ! xxxxx chapp1991. Glad they are home safe
