Sassy, where did you even FIND a 2 year old thread? Are you getting paid by the bump or something? :-)

I would not use KwikFit for anything, yet alone tracking.

When I used them years and years ago, they made a complete mess of putting a new back box on a Escort I had, and I mean a complete mess.

I would avoid using KwikFit for tracking and go somewhere you know you can trust

But where? I've been looking for 2 years! Where should I go!

More two year old rubbish cluttering up the place.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment entirely, ie, avoid QF like the plague, I agree. Enough posts on a weekly basis that surely one day will get the message accross, Oh and to the poster that said tracking is an awfull job, well no, it needn't be. Myself and Mikey gave a cost free way of dinng this much, much earlier back.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Is this a clue to whether Sassy is male or female?

Just because the thread is 2 years old and already been answered and even DIY money saving alternatives added by yourself and the fact we all know about KF and that Sassy(who I think is a woman btw, from another post)drives a Mondeo, isn't a knowitall but knowsitall about Mondeo V6's.........deep breath.......doesn't mean it shouldn't be pushed back onto the 1st page with all the other 2 year old threads continually getting dragged back up.

    What do posts make?Prizes!

I stand by tracking being an awful job, standing for half an hour waving an oxy torch on a corroded track rod then struggling getting all the turns etc correct isn't my idea of fun.

I have access to enough tracking gear :D I've done it enough times mate.

    Regards,
    Andy

Accepted there can be issues with a neglected/siezed adjuster.

But after a lifetime of doing my own thing I would not trust anyone to adjust the tracking on my cars, Plus it saves money, get the drift, no offence just different perspectives. An hour of struggle is worth more than a year of doubt that the job has been done correctly, figure it??

I don't think a seized track rod can be caled "neglect" :p

Nothing wrong with anybody doing it themselves, I make enough tools and things because I'm too mean to buy alternatives, I love to see people working around things, but for me, personally, I'll happily spend £20 for somebody to do my tracking, it's simply a job I despise.

I'd rather drive in, drive out and have it done. This post isn't meant to sound facitious; it's simply a job I detest.

Kudos to anybody who does their own though, I think I'd have a nervous breakdown attempting a "DIY" method.

    Regards,
    Andy
