Kwik Fit - Tracking for life offer?

Cheapest place I know of is called Exhaust discounts (based in Leeds). Generally no more than £50 fully fitted including VAT for a section.0

So where is it cheaper for just an exaust?
Your local indepedent tyre & exhaust garage, probably most other national chains.
Kwik-Fit don't like to quote prices on their website for exhausts, so I can't give you an exact example but let's take a look at another product.
I recently needed two new front tyres for my car, which are 205/55/16. Now, I know someone in the trade who did it for me but I did a bit of research first, to get an idea of what the rough cost would be and what tyres were available for replacements.
The comparison, Kwif-Fit and http://www.etbtyres.co.uk/ , the latter having a branch locally to me and advertising (with prices) in my local freebie paper.

kwik fit really isn't fit for purpose...0

they are dodgy, everytime you take it in for a free check they will find something wrong, if not they will still replace stuff any way
They used pressure tactics0 -
I would not use KwikFit for anything, yet alone tracking.
When I used them years and years ago, they made a complete mess of putting a new back box on a Escort I had, and I mean a complete mess.
I would avoid using KwikFit for tracking and go somewhere you know you can trust0 -
Thread is older than dirt, but shame I didn't take this up.
Tracking is an awful job, I'm more than willing to let anybody else on this planet do it rather than me.

I always use a garage that use lazer a lining to do my tracking, really not worth having it out or letting a place like KwikFit do it0 -

Can you explain the differences between optical tracking, scuff plates, digital and laser allignment to the good people of MSE?

Whoever this person is, they obviously have it in for "fast fit" places.
I'll add I do not, nor have never worked for a "fast fit" garage, I'm not a fitterBut I wish them no ill.
