Hi Frazz, set little goals rather than big ones!
If you set your sights too high and don't get there you feel like a failure when, in reality you've probably achieved loads!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Hi I'm intrigued as to what is a sloppy joe? I always thought it was a baggy jumper!Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

hi tealady....sloppy joes is an american recipe...basically a bolognese type mince sauce served over rolls with a salad....sounds foul in many ways but tastes fab!!! :j
ps...if it ends up tasting like a baggy jumper, you have made it wrong!! :rotfl:0 -
Wish I could be so organised with food. Because of shift work, generally can't be bothered and then fill up on junk. Only saving grace is eat a lot of fresh fruit and veg, no processed, so junk is actally jacket spud or beans on toast, so at least healthy-ish.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

know what you mean...
i try to freeze anything i can and then just get it out when i need it...sounds good, but not always as practical as that...often i make food on the weekends and have most of the weeks meals prepared in advance...much easier if you have a menu plan!!
congrats on keeping your 'junk' healthy..:D mine generally consists of icecream and chocolate!!:rotfl:0 -
How do you cook the meals you take out of freezer. My microwave is a dust collector in the corner of the kitchen, never really found a use for it!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

i know what you mean....mine is only used for making latte and noodles!!
most of the stuff, I take out of the freezer before work and then just whack it in the oven for thirty minutes or so when i return...gives me enough time to throw a salad together!!
lasagne, bubble & squeak, cooked bean dishes etc i tend to cook from frozen...makes it even easier when my memory fails me in the morning!! :rotfl:0 -
woo hoo!!!:j just checked my bank account and as long as i stick to the plan till payday i will remain in the black!!!
just got to get the puppies boosters sorted this week....but once that is done no more major expenses..(I hope!!;) )0 -
