Has anyone had any problems with them not meeting dates?
My monitor was scheduled for 29 Dec between 5 and 9pm - they called a few days earlier and left a message to tell me the times. It was delivered at 5:10pm on the 29th!!
I did once have to wait a few days for something to get from Coventry to Oxford, but otherwise they have always delivered when they said they would.

    Thanks for that.
I did manage to get WWI on phone who told me that Business Post were delivering the item.
Monitor did arrive later yesterday morning although only one box, it appears their depot was a shambles and the guy is out with a van full of incomplete orders, luckily the box did contain the monitor which my old power cable fits.
Very impressed with the monitor. Will chase up Business Post after hols for other box.

    Happy New Year!!

It was a white unmarked van.
I think the guy was sub contracted to Business Post, he had been asked to come out and cover previous days deliveries which hadn't been done.
  • Hi

From my dealings with Dell through work, they always use Walsh Western and they always seem to use unmarked white transits, even when they are delivering 300 system units!

Maybe they don't want to have any of their vans held up? If Dell ALWAYS use WWI then there's a pretty good chance that any van leaving their Coventry depot will be full of very expensive and easily sellable PC equipment.
(Or it could be that they don't want to waste money by painting their vans?? ;) )
BTW I'm VERY impressed with my monitor. :D

    Can anyone help?

Has anyone transferred the warranty of a Dell monitor to someone else. If so could they please tell me how this is done. I know there is a link to do this for the actual computer but I cannot see how this done with the monitor as I believe there is no service tag. (Maybe wrong there ) People over at rpoints have been very helpful but I was wondering whether anyone has actually done this. Thanks in advance.

Think you just phone them up with the serial number and they will sort it out

Woooohoooo finally got my monitor :P

all I need to do now is plug it in to see if it works :)

OMG its huge!!! and the monitor is pretty large as well :)

Screen size is a lot bigger than expected, mind you, I'd become used to my 15" Dell TFT.

Absolutetly fantastic...took nearly 2 months to get it but well worth the wait :)
