Sorry to hear you've had a stressful few days. I now no longer read or watch the news, bog all I can do about it so sick of hearing the "R" word, it's like a swear word in our house. Glad your daughter got a house sorted as well xx

    Hi all...hope you're all ok.
I'm aching today but am definitely going back to work tomoorow as my current account hasn't got loads of money in...lol...I still have my O/D left but don't want to use it until at least January and even then preferably not.
So the target now is to make enough money to pay all bills until end of january by christmas as January is a really quiet month and we are away for two weeks in January. That way I won't need to use the O/D...that's the plan anyway.
I have two N/I bills to pay..only £40ish altogether by the end of the month but will pay these monday.A+L never set up the D/D so it's took this long and this months has gone out.
Christmas is sorted except food..the tax money is sorted...that's an improvement as I usually put that on a 0% card..so it's not looking too bad.
I did ok shopping today...I bought a weeks bread, milk, packed lunch stuff etc etc..total cost £25 ..but I had £10 of morrisons vouchers left and my DD gave me a spare milk token..as she has 4 to use by next week so I only paid £12....with the stuff I have in the cupboard and freezer that should be enough for the week.
Apart from that not a lot happening.Hope you all have a good weekend xx

hi sounds like you've been busy again, glad to hear that your DD has a house.
I've got OH at home this weekend so it's lots of lovely jobs for us, we're heading into town to the charity shop to see if we can get some bedroom furniture. fingers crossed
I've got to sort out the filing cabinet that someone is coming to get from freecycle and then that's another thing gone and decluttered.
  • Hope you have been ok at work Taxi, and DD is a bit more settled. Have a good weekend.x
