I saw an ad for Morrisons-they had Carlsberg cases,24 cans of 440ml volume. Can't remember the exact price (9.99?) but I did notice the price per litre was less than £1, which I haven't seen for a long time.

I got DH some Cobra from Tescos online-total spend was £24.97 delivered with 1000 points (£40 off my next holiday!) so he can now have some cheapo Carlsberg as well!

Tesco do a very nice bottle of port - Croft Indulgence Port. Has been over £11 in the past, was then re-priced at £8.99. Was £5.99 on offer recently as it has been a few times throughout the year.
The offer has now ended and the permanent ticket price on the shelf is now £5.99 in my local branch (Lewes).
Haven't bought any at this price yet (still got a cupboard full from when offer was on), so can't confirm what price it scans at, but they would have to honour the shelf price anyway.

UPDATE - Went in yesterday and the shelf price is now listed as £8.99, with £5.99 as the current offer price.

FURTHER UPDATE - Now it's £5.49!! How low will it go?

Always go to Carrefour/Cite Europe in Calais to get Christmas drinks and shopping.
As beer and wine is about half the price of at home, you can easily recoup the ferry/tunnel cost.
And you get a day out in France and can have a nice meal somewhere too.

Tescos have Harveys Bristol Cream 1 litre at £4.97. Very good bargain for xmas. The smaller bottle is around the same price.
