Like most of you on this post I didn't seriously think this thing was ever going to be honoured, but still you've got to be in it to stand a 1 in a million chance.

I was thinking of cancelling anyway...I think £17 is disgusting!!!

The reason i posted it is because i had posted the fact that i and lots of friends and colleagues have not had their printer orders honoured even though they have the pdf.....so i would be surprised if dell honoured the projector....just common sense...some people are touchy today

yes, but the problem is dont deal with us...is that they will soon end up with no customers.....look at what happened to Laskys...fairly big retailer and a terrible one that treated its customers like dirt.....Comet is another...i am not joking if Comet sold something at half the price compared to everywhere else I would NOT buy from them as I know I would waste hours and hours trying to sort the mess out when they attempt to deliver it.

Umm are you joking? Dell is a multi-billion dollar company it earned almost a billion dollars in the last quarter, the founder is worth something like $17billion . I don't think there is any chance that they will end up with no customers because they don't honour your order. You need to compare like with like, Comet is not an accurate comparison. Besides last time I checked comet were still in business. Just because you won't buy from them doesn't mean several million someones won't.

Dell still haven't contacted me to say my order has been cancelled. I, like 99.9% of everyone else who ordered don't expect to get the projector, but at least they could tell me that im not getting it.
I may email them later, just to keep customer services busy for a while.
