Stretching leather shoes?

Never tried it myself but potato peelings are supposed to work if you leave them in overnight.0

Go to a Cl**k's shoe shop and ask for 'leather stretcher spray' it works on all types of shoes, costs about £2.50 and comes in a small aerosol spray.
It does what it says on the tin. I spray the shoes and stuff them very hard with newspaper.
I have dreadful feet and this stuff makes any shoes wearable.
Smells good too.

I can vouch for this too:D0 -
My Dad used to use a broom handle. Put broom on floor & insert handle into shoe, then just work round the shoe rubbing against top of handle. This really works.
:jInfamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!

I'm a fan of the wet newspaper trick, I do it with every new pair. You've got to pack it in really really tight for it to work though.0

water in food bags, then into the freezer worked a treat for me.It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

They need to be left like that, so certainly overnight. Might take a few goes to get them how you want them.Heidi0 -
I wouldnt do it with special shoes....
But put shoes on submerge in hot but bearable water then use & wear until dry.
Its the only thing that worked for my boots.
I could only wear them 5 mins @ most before I had to take them off.
Aferwards iv never had any problems & can wear them all day.
I was worried about the leather but it doent seem to have affected it. The boots are 14 months old. This is longer than my previous set.0 -
As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it ot the exising thread to keep tips together

Wearing them round the house with a couple of pairs of socks might just stretch them out a bit, especially if they are leather.0
