Hi, I'd like to join the Grocery Challenge for September, could you put me down for £200 please? I think I could do the month for less, but as I spent far more on my trial month in August, I want to set an achievable target to begin with.
Thank you

ok big mistake i went to poundland this morning after dropping my kids off to school and spent £6 wich was great i love poundland for bits and bobs, came straight home (via 3 clothes shops and a sandwich shop but they were mystery shops so technicly i had to go there ) and i stayed in all afternoon, went to collect my daughter and to my horror she looked like a tramp she had ripped her trousers so had to go to the dredded asda because its the only place local for uniforms £69 later i come out with bags of shopping i dont need and only one pair of school trousers so technicly it was £62 on chrisps, chocolate, reduced bread, bananas and god knows what else. i have vowed that i am not going shopping this week but i know come thursday (ususal shopping day) i will go moral of the story, dont go to asda when trying to save money:rolleyes:september:£22 jackpotjoy,screensaver,£50 thomas cook voucher0

Hi everyone,
Well yesterday and today were NSD's for me yeehaaa :T . Hopefully tomorrow will be one too, although Im not sure if the f/f milk will stretch to Wednesday.
Girl least likely too, congrats on your good news. I too was like you with my pregnancies.
PhilsMum, Big hugs to you on your sad news.
Greent, many thanks for the crumble ideas. Will def by trying those out.
CAn anyone advise me what im doing wrong with my HM bread, whenever I toast it, it goes all hard and breaks.
Yesterday, I made HM cauliflower cheese, there was loads left over, so, Ive reheated the rest for dinner tonight, but, now there is loads of cheese sauce left over. Do you think it would be okay to freeze this, so I can make macaroni cheese with it.
On the subject of weevils in flour, can you actually see these things. Im going to be terrified when I look at my flour now.
Off to catch up on the other posts.

Me again
just doing the currant cake, and I have weighed out 4 cups of flour,(have measurement cups, and weighed out 4 of the one that says 1 cup) this totals to 600g, looks an awful lot, does any one know if 600g is about right or not?
Thanks CazJuly 185.19/200/Aug=170.25//200//sept=81.24/200. 2adults,3 kids + 2 dogs.
