Morning all, I spent £80.89 in Mr T's yesterday. I only have £70 p/w but this will hopefully last two weeks, though i am going to make sure i'm very careful as i haven't got loads of meat in the freezer.
I'm back at work on Monday for my last two weeks before i finish..I find that work days are the hardest to cook when you are shattered and the kids are starving and they want something "NOW"!...so i must work around these danger days and be very careful.0 -
Hoorrahhhh we are back on line

Evening all, we're back
Hope you all had a nice productive MSE day
I did my first shop of September and spent £19.01 in Tesco (from a £40 weekly budget). Quite pleased, might buy some other bits later in the week- milk and possibly any whoopsies.
Have updated my sig accordingly.

I think I've had a sort of NSD as I've been shopping for my daughters birthday party next weekend.I'm not including her birthday party and present costs in my budget so havent deducted them. With MSE being down today I've got loads of baking done and Ice cream made so I've been productive.Imagine what I could achieve if I never went on the PC again.Naaah not gonna happen:rotfl:

I would like to join the challenge this month, please. We have been spending roughly £60pw, plus cat food and wine for the last couple of years. I have already been downshifting in an attempt to keep this to £60pw, which was hard going in itself considering how quickly the food prices have been rising.
Last month, though - thanks to having discovered OS - I have managed to keep the monthly bill to just under £250, this time including the cat food and wine - but this was with DD having been away for three weeks.#
This month, I would like to try and do it all for £250 again - food, all drinks for two adults, a fussy vegetarian 11 year old, and a fussy (and definitely not vegetarian) ageing cat, as well as toiletries and cleaning stuff.
I know many if you do it for far less than this, but - gulp - I'm still scared...0 -
I made home made pizza's for my boys today for the first time ever
am ridiculously proud of myself!
It's my birthday tomorrow but hubby has decided to spend the day doing some voluntary work, so will spend the day making tomorrow nights lasagne.Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -
OMG i've done loads today the house is spotless, I've baked bread, choc brownies, oat biscuits and fairy cakes and spent an hour ironing can't believe how much i've got done.
But i'm soooo glad MSE is back, i was starting to get serious withdraw symptems(sp).
Oh and a no spend day as well.
